My husband and I do this routine: 1. Gratitude - say a few things we’re grateful for 2. Enumerate how we served each other spiritually, emotionally, and physically that day 3. Give each other something that they can do better tomorrow 4. Do prayer intentions 5. He usually prays over us, asks for our intentions, and that’s it. 6. (Optional) we do a novena together
This one is absolute gold. It’s hard to cope with one’s own wretchedness and the ego tries so hard to justify oneself but there is no justification except by the blood of our Lord.
Thanks Matt so much for this! Brother in Christ, I’ve not been feeling this way just about myself, but the physical things which are ultimately fulfilled in life eternal. Since tomorrow is Father’s Day, and though my father agreed to be alongside my mother convalidated in the Catholic Church, he hasn’t gone back to practicing his Catholic faith fully. I know, seemingly unrelated, but what is relating is how St. Anthony of Padua said is to abide in the Precious Wounds of Christ, because in taking our human nature, lowered in dignity because of our iniquities, he can relate to us and call us brother because that’s why he became the Precious Paschal Sacrifice for us to offer and abide in till he comes. Much thanks for your work, may the Immaculate bring us closer to the heart of the Father, the perfection of life! Amen!
What a lovely video… the Holy Spirit enables us to expand our hearts to receive His Love and Know the Truth: that He is Lord and Refuge and we are not. One does not come without the other. When we invite the Holy Spirit to our heart the simultaneous dynamic of being wounded (with Love) by SEEING our poverty comes with the JOY and HOPE of finding that our richness is in HIM. We couldn’t experience the peace and consolidation of His Love if that same Love was not acting in US to teach us how to receive it, love back, and Love that Love! The Holy Spirit makes us wiser in humility, humble in wisdom, and gives us the wisdom of humility. And all, happen in simultaneous. Any separation (divisions) of these spiritual movements will quickly lead us to ourselves again, to take our eyes out of Christ or to be lost in our own spiritual search. Glory be to Jesus! This past week I was in Assisi with my family of 5 kiddos and as we walked in front of St Francis’s Basilica I did a double take at a gentlemen in a white shirt I thought was Matt Fradd. I said no way that’s him……lol….jokes on me. What a small world!!

Please pray for my friend who struggles with trusting that God is good. He admonished me recently to keep in mind that the Father allowed the Son to die a tortuous and humiliating death. The cross is “a stone that makes men stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” (quoting a lyric by Michael Card by way of St. Paul). My friend occasionally echoes chapter 3 from Job. We’ve had quite the conversation about that story.

I really needed this today. I am very grateful for these words. I have felt convicted by my own brokenness recently how little I pray for others to be encouraged or encourage them. Let’s all pray for one another’s hearts to continually seek refuge in Christ’s wounds.
Is it common to find Christ and his Church at the end of a tunnel of false or even wrong ideas? I remember that I learned to love my nation before I ever admitted Godʼs existence.
@@2BeefHair as a German my love for my nation was nothing but a rebellious teen phase. I knew all the time that I never could confess my nationalism to anyone, because everyone would laugh at me or even cancel me. Now I have understood that there is no reason to love a “nation” if such a thing even exists
@@deutschermichel5807 I don’t think there is anything wrong with love of nation. In a western country in this day and age, it may even be fundamental to the preservation of Christianity. There definitely seems to be a nationalistic movement all over Europe in response to mass immigration from eastern cultures, lately.

I will say if you follow Dr Peterson you'd have heard his story of growing up, how he met Tammy when very young in fact was close to her father. Stories of their relationship & Tammy giving her version also. Intriguing. She's awesome please watch her interviews & those before she became ill. Thank you.
Why do we need to pray for Jordan’s conversion? Why not just ‘pray’ for him without a judgment, rather than for what some think he needs. What if JP is here to get people to de-convert from religion back to God. Stranger things have happened!
