I never watched the movie until many years after I listened to this song for the first time. This is still one of my favorite ballad songs. Many kudos to both artists for your fantastic performance! Please check out this new single! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_jT_o9PQaLI.html
As a black man the first time I heard this song, i thought he was talking about black men in general.(No one knows what it's like, to be a black man, to be a sad man, behind brown eyes) This during the time of empathic consciousness. It's been anthem of mine ever since. And i lasy saw the WHO, in 07! Great show!
This is apocalyptic. Kids today have no clue what music really is. They will never feel what i feel when listening to this. It's epic. Thank God for the recording studio !
I know this song from my father, at age 13 i felt strange to hear this song.. but after i grew up and has 2 child i thought my father music taste is very good 😂😂
Its 2024 now and Rod is still performing and this song brings back so many sweet memories especially the late great John Peel who along with Anne Nightingale was the best rock djs on tele and radio 🏴🏴🏴🏴👍🎸☮️😍😎
Two things: The fact this is called the original music video when is clearly dubbed either is a) lame or b) tells you about something for the time when the song was released AND THE FACT THEY CUT OUT THE BANJO SOLO?! That’s just lame as hell.
I discovered this song in a cereal box as a kid. For some reason, the cereal company included a Who single in the box. "Who's Next" became my favorite Who album. This song explains the first forty years of my life - the legacy of being a bullied and unpopular kid. "My love is vengeance" explains most of my unsuccessful pre-forty relationships. I am old now and have made peace with my upbringing and past experiences. Yet this video takes me right back. Thank you for posting.
