this show went from PG-13 to close to R with the whole battle between these two. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to put a "real feel" of a battle in this series, but I'm surprised it didn' get a different rating.
Chozen's almost fatal wounding is proof that he is totally inferior to a same aged version of Miyagi. Miyagi would never have let silver get a hit of any kind on him or let Silver put up that good of a fight. Miyagi toyed with Silver like a cat toying with a mouse but Chozen almost felt like the underdog in this fight.
The only thing that bothers me about this fight is that Chozen had a clear opening to just go for the kill very early on at 2:34. Obviously this is for a TV action sequence, and the longer the fight the better, but there was no reason he couldn’t have just gone for the stab in that moment. I could see the argument that Chozen truly didn’t want to kill him, but I feel like if that’s his line when he pulls out the sai, he’d probably follow through
This proves Sato was better than Chozen, because CHOZEN got hit by Silver, and Sato was at Miaygi level, as seen by his 10th Dan red belt, Chozen and Silver are probably 5th or 6th rank black belts.
Chozen is amazing, no doubt about it. But Johnny is not getting the respective he deserves in this comment section. The man took on a group of the highest trained fights on his own, and even was a punching bag for a good few rounds!
Why does Chozen look, like he's aged so much? His face looks hardened, like a 60 year old man! I think he's got a few wrinkles in, how come only Daniel looks like he's stopped the aging process, he still looks no older than 30.
@@pauljohnson6019 after compared to chozen and johnny or kreeze who tasted lol, daniel, silver or even mikes barnes, they had more beautiful lives, silver is a millionaire or even billionaires, barnes is independent in construction and daniel in automobiles, ,,,,, johnny and kreeze are in eternal depression johnny since his defeat and kreeze since he lost cobra kai, moreover their lifestyle proves it, lawrence and kreeze are bums, and chozen is a hermit in full redemption that he finds thanks to Daniel as the Cobra Kai episodes progress
@@user-rm7vu6ww4r While in all the movies, apart from kk1, Daniel was seen as the innocent victim, and Kreese and his students the bullies, but tbf, Daniel did instigate some of the fights, and caused the Cobras to react, but Kreese's philosophy was to show no mercy, which was pretty extreme, and almost led to Daniel's death.
@@pauljohnson6019 But that I will say, it's because of Mr. MYIAGI, always defense, defense, defense,,,, in the end daniel never knew how to fight he was getting smashed by johnny, by mike, by chozen, by silver , if mr myiagi had trained him more like sato trained CHOZEN, already mike barnes would not have scared him in the 3, and silver would not have given him a beating, in the end daniel knows nothing about MYIAGI DO, now the latest discoveries in episode 6 will surely teach us why Mr MYIAGI refuses to fight except in extreme cases. Maybe we'll finally understand why Daniel is so bad lol
@@user-rm7vu6ww4r That should be interesting, maybe that's why Miaygi was so lethal, he didn't want to fight, but he knew, if he did, it would be deadly.
I like how terry silver and Chozen are very good at reading eachother. Chozen knew silver was no warrior as if he saw him in the cage and silver knew Chozen was a warrior as if he say the fight to the death scene
