Nice video! How would you compare video quality between the Insta360 and GoPros? I have seen many videos on RU-vid. Many of them are sponsored by Insta360 and they do lean to giving they preference to using the Insta360 versus the GoPro.
I have just got 2 sea and sea YS -D3 strobes for use with my Mk vii and a Nauticam housing ,however, I can only set the shutter speed to 1/100 when in manual mode and the flash is set to forced flash , which I must do to fire the strobes via the fibre optic cables . Is there a way of making my shutter speed faster when my strobes are attached attached ??
Great video! I see you also tested the Insta360 Ace Pro, which do you like better for diving? This one or the insta? I'm looking for a camera to register the entire dive.
I'm so happy with this camera. Very good. I have both but In my opinion dji osmo action 4 is better than Gopro 11. And your tips are very good too. Thanks a lot
Great video. I have a question for you. Dive, buddy.. what would be your recommendation if shooting with Sony A7R5 for best results? Is there anything i can add to this system other than just shoot with a 90mm or 105 lens? Does anyone thats read this shoot with a Sony A7R Series camera. I have a few questions
Very nicely put together. Straight to the point. Very easy to understand. And excellent examples with a clip on the surface, in shallow water, and in deep water. Thank you for making this video.
Hi, I am using the Orcatorch 710V I made a video about it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZdevMP5sixQ.html&ab_channel=UnderwaterPhotovideo 👌
It's actually a pity that you can't film in 4k 60fps with ProRes log on Iphone15 Pro without an external storage which won't fit into the dive case. But the possibilty to slow down and smooth your footage is quite important under water in my opinion.
You can't have it all. Quality and small files. With Davinci resolve you can still slow down your files and then use optical flow. Not perfect but on some footages the result is ok.. I used h265 codec which is 20 times smaller files and the result is still ok for social medias and personal use which kind of ok for a phone .
Thank you for sharing this information. I am curious however on why you are doing this work with Davinci resolve and not with Lightroom? Isn't LR more efficient in this type of editing or is there more to it than what I can tell here please?
Great video, how about stabilization? since I am a scuba diver beginner looking to make videos, what camera would you recommend in 2024 for videos? Thanks
Gopro definitely. In water.. lights are more important than the camera itself. And nobody watch a shaky footage. I have paid alot of $$ from full frame.. 1 inch sensor and now only shoot in gopro with 2 x 15000lm lights. Check out my gopro shots.. and always buy quality video lights the best u can afford.. follow by increase to 2 lights.. and never start off with M set-up if u have less than 100 dives experience..
Hi, I have been using a Sony A6000 in a Meike/Seafrogs case. I have had it for maybe 7-8 years. Its OK but bulky for travel. I use with one Inon fash . Should I upgrade to one of these? I shoot manual but two of my friends use the Olympus TG-5 and get netter macro results. SKILL MATTERS. 😅 I am planning on a trip to the Philippines in April 2024, and looking at changing to a gopros just because of the size for flights and packing, and they are point and shoot really. I am not a great photographer underwater and would have to say my dives have become completely focused on trying to get a nice photo rather than ENJOYING the dive. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Very sad about this. My dive is in Malapascua so its all bout shooting the amazing thresher sharks there AND having FUN. BTW LOVE YOUR CHANNEL.
