When the cold burns @ -50 degrees Celsius, in a 60 km N/S wind, if you don’t seek shelter you’re surely going to die. Welcome to Canada, you can place your stuff over there, grab a rod, and wait for the bite. With a hatchet you can get through 3 ft of ice fairly quickly, h20 will be needed, just don’t get wet.
Where are the tracked IFV's (CV90...) to complement the Leo2's with equal off-road/snow capability? Or is that a inconvenient political can that has been kicked far down the road, like after the next balloon goes up?
@@1ABNDTunfortunately the CAF isn’t very lenient in accepting anyone with medical conditions. Even people with conditions like asthma or diabetes have a difficult time joining.
...everyone who joins has to go threw basic training don't matter what your gonna be doing everyone goes threw basic you won't be able to do the physical portion of basic @@1ABNDT
This is a bait and switch. Your "career" will look nothing like this. 1/2 of Canadian reg force equipment is non-functional, the other half is in Ukraine. How much do you think the reserve has as an afterthought to the CDS? Learn to say "Yes Zer!" Or be charged with hate crimes for misgendering some blue haired weirdo in combat boots a skirt.
What à shamefuul Canadian propaganda. To invent à battle that never happend. A smal peacekeeping force could inflict 12 casualties to the Croats who went there with 8 000 soldiers but no Canadian was killed or wounded? No UN peacekeeping troops ever put à resistance in that war because the local armies were huge with heavy wagons, they would be wiped out.
FINALLY an inspiring video from CAF, was starting to think they were all about touchy feelings crap I guess they need to boost recruitment for their war against Russia
@@CHART_2008 I know someone that went last year so I was interested. I'm from Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Just graduated from highschool so I thought this will be a perfect opportunity to go.

Okay Number 1 make it happen. Develop it, make it here, not outsource. Now today would be, a good start. It will make us on par with G7 growth needed. The problem is, do we even have abilities to do it properly anymore? Don’t just talk about it. War happens quickly. Not five years from now. Geologically we are not untouchable.
Imagine a cougar as a scout, harnessed with a "go-pro" with light firearm support operated remotely by a soldier. As well bird of prey are great at taking out drones. The wild can and have been a great sentient ally.
The future is always indigenous. Canada has a vast wildness that can be harnessed for defense. The indigenous people are still here cause they are apart of the spirituality of the land. Would be good to have a wildlife biologist/scientist with DRD that is of First Nation ancestry.
