Hello! I'm David from Linux Lair and welcome to my RU-vid channel. On this channel, you'll find product reviews as well as tech tutorial tips (How-to) I look forward to sharing my passion with you.
Yep. I've tried it on my mac mini. Only thing is when you try to access the 'bios' mode with command+R or option+R (if i remember correctly), it took a few try before it worked but other than that, it works as intended.
Indeed, since it's a .exe file, it won't run on windows but it might run in a windows VM or parallel desktop. I know it's not the best way to do it but it's a nice workaround if you don't own a Windows PC.
I think that package name is pavucontrol. So in distros derived from Debian and Ubuntu it would be installed like this: sudo apt-get install pavucontrol
Thank you. 🏴 Changed my driver to Studio one (from previously Game Ready) on my laptop (RTX 2070) I use my laptop for music production and game development. Most stable drivers are better.
OK, the instructions that come with the headset are useless, but this video doesn't help much. First, there isn't a red light. Second, you must pull down the slider as well as push it in. So, to connect your Logitech Headphones H800 with your phone: 1. Push the sliding switch to the Bluetooth icon (the middle position) 2. If a green (or sometimes it's yellow) light does not come on next to the control, then charge your headphones 3. Use the other spring enabled sliding control (it has arrows at both ends for playback/skip forward control) 4. Using the control described above, SLIDE DOWN the control while also pushing the plus sign (+) the outside of the ear piece (the one in the plastic circle) 5. Wait for the green light to flash fast. It may take a minute or so. When it does this then it is scanning for a device to pair with 6. On your phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and select scan to search for Bluetooth signals. 7. Pair with the entry for H800 Logitech Headset on your list of available Bluetooth devices - it will probably be at the end of the list 8. You are now connected
Hmm, not sure yet, i know you can't completely isolate the bass but if you play with low pass filter and high pass filter, you might be able to get it. I migh to a video on this.
So does it wipe out the alternate driver download/install each time you switch or once both drivers are pulled down and installed, do GeForce merely switch between the two, perhaps with just a reboot?
And what should I do if there is no driver selection, but only “Reinstall driver”? Before this there was a game driver. I chose the studio driver and installed it. Now there is no choice of other drivers, but only “reinstall driver”.
I just installed the most recent and appropriate game ready drivers for my computer after a clean win 10 install and fresh nvidia install (clear old settings) and it shows the option to switch between driver types.
Followed your advice but the version of Ubuntu I have (provided with Windows Hypervisor) does not have the Software you highlighted in your video - how do you get it if the software library is not available to the user (sorry I'm a Linux newbie) - I have no "ubuntu software" at 1:11
3.5 mm jacks tend to do this. Look on amazon for a Ground Loop Filter Noise Isolator for 3.5 mm jacks, it's an inexpensive and effective solution. Otherwise, you can play with sound setting, but that becomes more complicated to get the sound you want and there's always going to be a bit of noise. Hope this helps.
Well it's a light OS so less ressources consumption. For work, you still have access to 'Big Tech' companies like Microsoft, Goggle etc from the web. I've struggled a little when I needed a specific vpn for work but I've managed to make it work. For gaming, Linux still have some things to do but it's very promising. With Lutris and Stean Play, it make Windows gaming accessible :)
I've just been doing this manually by changing the tempo by percent and visually matching up the waveform, gonna start playing with these bpm finders when I need to fix a mix, where sometimes I need to re-record a piece of a track if there was a drop out on the usb of the mixer
