"Back of the House" is a reality television show about chefs, food, and cooking. Hosted by Charles Mereday, a renowned chef and restaurateur currently based in Naples, Florida, the show takes you right into the best kitchens in the world for an intimate, raw, and real look at the life and work of a chef. Season One will air on Fox 4 in southwest Florida every Saturday at 12:00 noon. I love flying into Tampa and driving south to Everglades City just to go to City Seafood. We're from Minnesota and one day a decade ago we went out exploring southern Florida and that's how we found it. Been coming back ever since. We'll be back here again either in October or November 2024.
There is something in the drinking water in Everglades City. Over the years, I have worked with a dozen life long residents of Everglades City. Everyone of them are either in prison or have been in prison, but it is a cool place.
Great video! I've been to Everglade City a few times but never to City seafood. Thank you for sharing. I'll be back in Florida in June and look forward to trying that place.
