I believe fishing is infinite, there are endless possible ways to try and accomplish the same goal... Catch a Fish! Basically, you must decide where to fish, what to fish for, how to fish for them and what to fish with. There are infinite iterations of this basic formula in Michigan alone and this planet is quite large relative to that! My obsession in life is to continually better understand fish and fishing, most excitedly, the "what to fish with" part of the equation. This channel aims to share my thoughts, experiences, and realizations after countless hours spent attempting to solve the "Fishing Equation".
Amazing footage!Miss that lake, moved to Jackson 5 years ago for work. Out of curiousness what areas was this filmed? Not looking for your spot, I've just never seen walleye like that where I used to fish lsc. Only really sandy spot id fish was around Selfridge, and deep cotton Rd.
Most of the footage in this video was filmed during a 5 hour fishing session on the Canadian side of the lake. They were really piled up in the shade under the white ice!
Wow awesome data Holy Cow Thx this really is great data knowing it could keep someone alive in bad situation an might help me catch a perch cause i worlds worst fisherman :(
Their spawning temps aren't far off and they seek similar conditions. You wont see those species with pike or smallies typically and trout species I think are found deeper except when in river. Carp spawn after steelhead. Whitefish closes out each year, spawning in dec. Then in order its Perch (march 1), walleye, steelies, carp, white bass, gills large mouths, river cats (june 10). Perch are ice off but perch and walleye will prespawn from late feb to march. Large mouths are about mid June. You can chase all the species in a row in michigan w lots of success. Great footage man!
