I'm not holding guard whenever I try to parry. It might look like it but I let go of the button everytime I parry. The animation to go back to neutral stance just takes a while.
Cancel the combo by pressing dodge button. The tricky part is to get the timing of the attack after dodging. Roughly after the dodge roll/after landing on your feet after backstep is the timing to attack/roll to resume your combo.
My problem was Siegfried is that his skills don't contribute to his combo finisher every other character at least the ones I've delved into the most have their skill contribute to their combo finisher. For example cagliostro whenever you do at least two of her skills it contributes to her having a quick execution of her smash finisher. Or let's take Percival for example at least three of his skills contribute to a quick execution of his double charge finisher. However with Siegfried his skills don't help him get closer to his combo finisher at all. It's just an attack and that's it you don't get anything for doing it at all to get him to his final finisher. This makes his skill set feel janky not doesn't flow. I feel like this is an easy fix and not even his link attack after the execution you can't go into his final finisher. Seems like an odd decision considering how every other character functions. Finally getting to his combo finisher isn't easy considering the fact that you have to perfectly time all your hits for him to do it.

Lol, more like, Hippo could not stand at all. Btw, is cragblade better for this build? I'm using shriek of sorrow at the moment(every thing else same), it takes 2-3 fully charged hits to bleed, but the damage is not that good.
There are literally tons of builds you can do. You can even cheese bosses if you want to. You can do summons(npc/player). There's also the new scadu mechanic. People just gives up easily nowadays and just want to complain. Also, it's a fromsoft game, it's supposed to be challenging.
Those are heavy charged attacks and deals a lot of stance damage. Also I already knew that she's about to transition and can get a stance break before she cast her fire geyser aoe.
@@shuragamingyt I love it. Been using it from the very beginning and it does completely change the game. There is only 1 boss I've run into thus far where it doesn't work.
Just started learning him today, he is really fun, trying to build him up now. Been maining percy since launch, first time I have actually bothered to learn a new character.
@@shuragamingyt Yeah some of the chars I just dont want to play because they are button mashing, even though they look good, lancelot for example. Percy has skill to him, has skill to his build as well by trying to get the rotation of skills and charges aligned for max burst damage. Though of course after getting used to him its kind of a cake walk. Where seig, so far me testing him out, not also is it hard to keep track of his timing, its hard to keep track of what I can or cannot armour through, what I need to dodge and getting his timing going without hitting the enemy. Meaning it is gonna take practice and skill to learn.
From my experience, the dodge offset is crucial to Siegfried as you can loop his final triangle perfect execution, which does the most damage out of the whole combo(the timing is about the second hit of the perfect execution and is still doable with an air dodge if it came out on its descent, just need to keep track of your dodge count at that point)
@@shuragamingyt Honestly didn't consider it for the prior combo steps, but dodge offsetting to get the buff first feels worth it to then refresh it with subsequent triangle perfect executions

Dude what are you even talking about? Lol. Are you talking about phase 7 of p organ? This is NG not NG++. I know in your eyes it seems I'm blocking but those are all parries.
I find it fascinating you used the Aegis legion arm. For me, I used the Falcon eyes specifically for the second phase. Aside that, a flawless showcase of skill and talent my guy. Well done! :)
You'll get there. Just keep practicing. What I do is, I look for visual cues to get the right timing for TDS parry(eg. Elbow bending etc). You just have to look for visual cues that works for you. Thanks for watching!
i 2nd tried this boss......this game is too ez when u get the parry timing right i use bone saw blade and dancing blade handle only charge attacks and fable
Yes. Getting the timing right with parries really makes the game alot easier(more opportunities for groggy). Also with everything at your disposal(items, legion arms, throwables etc), you won't have problems with any boss.
