Something to keep in mind, Blaze and Razgriz Squadron were canonically flying F-14's in the final battle, which were already considered obsolete by 2004 (when AC5 was released) and finally retired completely by 2006. The Grey Men were flying F-15 ACTIVEs and S-32's, both of which were only prototype models (the S-32 never actually made it off paper) but were considered high-performing aircraft by the in-game stats. By all accounts, it should have been an easy battle against some aging F-14's. Razgriz wiped the skies clean of the Grey Men forever. In a univers where the top aces generally fly something like the F-15 or the F-22, Blaze flew into history in an F-14. Let there be no doubt that he's an "Ace of Aces".
Holy shit! I can't express how much I love this. "Test Drive" was already an incredible track and you just brought it to a whole new level. I'll never forget this series...
Cum historia mutat valde Razgriz revelat ipsum: Primum daemon scelestus est. Cum potentia sua Daemon fundet mortem in terram: Deinde moritur. Cum somnus finit, Razgriz surget iterum: Magnus heros est.
I remember when the first movie came out cause some friends and I snuck in to the theater to watch it (one of their uncles was the manager of the theater and let us in the backdoor so we could watch movies all day and in exchange we helped him clean up the theaters after) Still love the series to this day, and re-watch the movies from time to time.
I just heard this in spotify and my god what a masterpiece, i can tell alot of effort was put into this and words cannot describe the feeling behind this
By any chance would you ever do any sorta remixes of the House of the Dying Sun tracks? It’s a ace pilot combat game, except in space, where you fight as one of the Emperors executioners with the last order given being: Kill the Traitors Super fun game with a badass Japanese inspired track, highly recommend!
I'll never forget the freedom of flight and the soul of music. We were always meant to touch the sky.. Beautiful work by the way. I'm always glad to see more releases.
With a heart full of vengeance and the sky as his battleground, the ace pilot unleashed every ounce of his skill and fury, determined to avenge his fallen comrades.
Lucas you are still the absolute best Ace Combat themed composer out there. I still remember when I first heard Stars over Sotoa and it blew me away and this gave me the same vibes that Stars over Sotoa and He Will Return gave me so nice work man. To blue skies and beyond.
