Texas is a paradise if you love poisoned land, air, and water. Or if you love treason. Or if you love a malfunctioning electrical grid. Or if you’re a moron. Or if you’re a bigot. Or if you love Russia. Oh, and if you love any of these things…congratulations, you’re a Republican!
WHY would I trade wonderful California weather, reliable power, a great economy, limitless business opportunities, great schools, and great beaches for roasting in the summer, snow in the winter, Christofascists, hurricanes, an authoritarian governor, a criminal attorney general, and secessionist traitors? Thanks, I’ll stick with California: fifth largest economy on Earth and best state in the country.
Just imagine the heat and extreme weather events coming in the next 10 years. Will be almost impossible for Texans to get home insurance. Ask Floridans
Hi, I'm a Texan native. We love Concertive Texas. Some will like it, some will not. But, that still doesn't stop people from comming and buying up sacred indigenous lands...😮 Have a nice day.
Let’s be clear, inclusiveness is not a virtue in blue areas. Inclusiveness is a virtue in red areas. In blue areas, they don’t mind dudes swinging their private during a certain month, but God forbid you vote Republican.
I live in both California and Texas and much prefer California. The weather in California and the natural beauty cannot be beat but I do appreciate the politics more in Texas and the cost of living is still better than California, though not for much longer and the traffic in DFW is now on par with SoCal, sad to say. As for the lakes in Texas, the majority are man-made with no natural tributaries so the water is stagnant and the beaches are nothing to brag about. And no mountains. Yes, you can get more house but I would rather have a smaller house and live in a beautiful place with a great climate. Now all we have to do is get rid of the Dems and the stranglehold they have on the state and life would be great! Texas weather is extreme, it has always been dramatic but now it's just violent and awful. October is really the only good month there.
On this video you talked about the PID and MUD water Tax and said PID is tax detectable. I live in PID community, and it is not Tax detectable at all since I have been paying it for the last nine years. Correct me if I was wrong, please?

Nothing beats San Diego but too expensive and whack ass politics left for PHX but its slowly becoming like cali again. Word of advice Fool! You left cali for a reason from a blue state now into a red state . Leave that blue state mentality back in cali fool or youll turn the red state youre moving to into a blue state. Nah dont be doing that if you leave change the way u politic fool.
Anyone who’s spent time in California and Texas knows damn well that aside from California’s asinine politics, everything else about California vastly supersedes life in Texas. The restaurants, the beaches, the weather, the scenery, everything is vastly nicer than anything anywhere in Texas has to offer.
TX would've been a good choice maybe 15/20 years ago. But it has literally exploded with people flooding into the state, which raises housing prices, cost of living, traffic. Just way to many people moving there. Once rural areas now covered in new housing developments, strip malls .. no thanks. I'm in CA and looking at Oklahoma, where all this migration and congestion isn't really a thing, at least not yet. Cheaper to live there than TX and WAY cheaper than CA.

I wouldn't live in a neighborhood like that....... I'm Texas born, and as a truck driver I have seen how cities are. The hill country is my drstination.
DFW has plenty of scorpions. I used to live down south in a new DR Horton. The new builds were apparently on scorpion fields. I was stung on five occasions within three years.

Well they should move back where they came from then, simple. They properly liberals anyways and we don’t want to ruin our state like they did they’res so leave
I'm originally from TX midland and lived in Plano twice, I currently live just 20 minutes north of Seattle (for work) and have for 14 years. I'm looking at moving back to the DFW metroplex, I miss southern hospitality. I have a house with a view of the mountains, 40 minutes away from skiing, 10 minutes from the ocean, millions of hiking trails, lakes, ECT. I FKN hate it here, it's cloudy and rainy 45° for 8 months out of the year. The only good food here is asian styles, they really don't have a food culture here. The people have no personalities either and are antisocial. The 3 month of good sunlight we get everyone is trying to do all the outdoor activities they can before the rain returns so it's super packed anywhere you go, the roads r to small for the amount of people who live here so constant traffic all day, 7 days a week, infrastructure is horrible, buildings and towns r old and outdated, it's really one big outdated small town. There's trash all along the highways, all around most towns, they don't mow or manicure any grass or landscaping that's related to the cities or states. Yeah we all wish we could have 70 degrees near a beach but drive 30 minutes east of the ocean and it's as hot as TX. Liberals are freaking weird unrealistic people who don't focus on logical goals, old-school original Dems were fine. This new liberal woke ideology has ruined anything that used to be nice here, what little culture they had. Anyways, the value of having good friendly people, good foods, big highways, clean city, sunlight, police that are aloud to deal with crime, community and state leaders who work for their people, makes it totally worth giving up all the nature I have around me. I really miss TX and southern living, hopefully not long before I can get out of here.
Thanks for watching and sharing @ezeNdog. I have had several clients who have relocated to Dallas, some for jobs, others for lifestyle change. My sister left Seattle a few years back, they just had enough.
i lived in various areas throughout the country, i never had a problem with the cold or snow maintenance. however the the yanks and snowbirds that come here cant tolerate our weather at all. do we really have it that bad? i enjoy the heat, it make me feel alive

I moved from LA to the area just to piss off all the people who blame Californians for Texas' own self-made problems. I've been all over the country. Texans are the only people who think there was something inherently better about this state before the influx of tech and corporate jobs, transplants, and the real estate boom (in addition to traffic 😅).
I lived in Dallas Texas for several years, My family was MISERABLE there. First of all, the property taxes are OUT OF CONTROL. Secondly, it's the worst of both worlds, VERY hot in the summer with 100+ temperatures for four months, then FREEZING weather for about 3-4 months. Only spring and fall are tolerable weather. Third, there are dozens of TORNADOES that occur in the plains areas. Fourth. outright gun violence every five minutes thanks to EVERYONE walking around with a shotgun even in restaurants like Whataburger. Firth, outright racism. just about EVERYONE in Texas is a redneck racist and feels if you are a minority that you are a lesser person. I took my family out of that HELLHOLE and I have never been back!
I moved to Houston from Orange County California and there’s no comparison but I moved here for work so I’m sucking it up. It’s super hot 🥵 i’m not sure I can get used to it. I’m conservative so I don’t have an issue with the politics. The parks are beautiful here though.
Every year, spring storms are no joke, and no basements to hide in. Summer heat is wilting, and really works over your house and cars. Worst thing is really the reckless, unchecked entitled drivers. Cost of living is going up fast, and property taxes are super high and rising. Move close to work, or you'll spend lots of your time in crazy traffic. There's nothing to see here if you like nature though, and everything is a long drive away. Still, lots to do and there's everything you could want here if the job pays enough to afford the cost of living. Oh, there's a pretty big cycling culture here if you are into that and don't fear the homicidal latte sipping giant suv driving soccer moms. I care nothing about sports, but am just down the street from the Cowboys "Star" lol.
I know as a real estate company you probably don't want to mention it but politics play a very real impact in why people are flocking to the metroplex but want nothing to do with Dallas or Tarrant (tolerant) county
