Knoebels is awesome. Did you ride Kosmos Kurves? I saw footage. That thing has airtime! So do the bumper cars if you know how to sling em or just get on a cycle with locals lol Also The Flyers are great and even better when you snap the chains. There are also other unique rides and attractions like the indoor disco himalaya and fascination. Now I am just rambling on and on lol
11:37 from a ride operator at the park, that jolt you feel coming into the station is actually the transfer track! It's very old school and unconventional as that entire section pivots over to connect to the storage track on the right, leaving a giant gap in the left rail coming into the transfer. An operator then has to get a giant piece of metal to bridge the rails together while the rest of the crew carefully pushes the train on or off making sure not to bump the bridge out of place. If you want to see the whole transfer process this is probably the best video of it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eWVuE_FXdf0.html&pp=ygUka2Vubnl3b29kIHRodW5kZXJib2x0IHRyYWluIHRyYW5zZmVy
Fun fact: Ghostwood Estate used to be Gold Rusher, a dark ride without blasters! There is a “runaway train” element in Old Mill that is repurposed from Gold Rusher. Overall though the Ghostwood update was a pretty big upgrade that’s popular with kids though.
Love the spoopy intro!! Glad you had fun at the party. 🩷 Sad that WDW does not do more stuff with Nightmare before Christmas like Disneyland does! I can't wait for our first NSSHP tho!
@@cruiseandcoasters my son and I are flying into JFK and then renting a car for a month to drive from east coast to west coast visiting as many parks as we can and then flying out of LAX back home to UK. We’ve been waiting for the new all parks pass add on for Cedar Fair and Six Flags to be released and it looks like next year is going to be our first chance. Hope we get to meet you both at some time during the trip, it would be awesome 🙌
I just love Cedar Point so much, it’s just such a fun park all around! Steel Vengeance and Maverick are my two favorites there because personally I don’t love positives I like lots of negative and lateral g’s more.
Sorry if the audio is a bit off for you! It was fine during the export. Something must have happened with the RU-vid upload. I’ll look into it tonight! ❤
It's good to see a park with some thrill coasters maintaining their flatrides. And it really puts a smile on my face to see you talk about coasters with such joy!
Also, congrats on losing that much weight. That’s honestly been the reason why I’ve been proactive at losing my weight. I was trying to ride V2 and discovery Kingdom, a ride that I always had ridden before, but I couldn’t fit and that’s when I decided to change.
Great video! I went to Australia Zoo for the first time a few weeks ago- so lovely. Can I ask a technical question- what kind of microphone do you use? It sounds great quality.
There are several videos about this haunted mansion on RU-vid. I enjoy the ones where they give a walking tour with the lights on. The reason for the extra charge is because brats were doing damage to show scenes. They figured that if they charge for each ride it would cut down on the damage. I worked Disney Attractions for 9 years and we had the same problem.
If you have a Fast Lane and you aren't doing Wild Water Kingdom, you can knock out Dorneys main rides in 2-3 hours tops. Without Fast Lane, about 4 hours plus..... except for the Ops at Talon. Cutting close to 6 minute dispatches 😢😢😢😢
De achtbaan ziet er tof uit, maar rondom de achtbaan ziet er wel erg sfeerloos uit. Misschien ben ik te verwend met de Efteling Nederland vlakbij mijn huis.😉
ahh I was just there a couple weeks ago for the first time since 2008 😂 it was good to be back! Menace is fun, back row for me felt rattly for sure 🙈😆 nice ya got back on an impulse! love Possessed! such a simple ride, but fun! would be nice to have the holding brake 🥹 like Steel Venom at Valleyfair love the shirt 😜 I have it too lol glad you guys had fun! not the JoJo Siwa 😂❤️ and the clouds helping out with the heat 😮💨👏🏼 lol
Very good representation of the park. I live 20 minutes from Knoebels and been going here since I’m an infant (will be 50 next year). I even worked here one summer. I really enjoyed watching this.
I find Nitro glass smooth in every seat, but on Toro if I'm not in very specific exact rows, it's unbearably rough... one ride is good for the day. I've been on it with so many others whose days are pretty much ruined after one ride on Toro. Massive potholes that send jolts up through your spine. Ugh. But then others ride it no problem and I find it downright mysterious lol I used to like this park but this year I find it just awful. Lines are longer than they have any reason to be, coasters with not enough trains, too many rides closed, you have to reserve a ride on the safari (what?!), the skyride seems to have been retired which is so disappointing, I kind of hate it now and would way rather spend my time at Dorney and Hershey. <3 <3
I grew up at Great Adventure. Anything with special effects never went more than a season of less. Maybe only the opening weekend. Now the log flume was always open even in the snow. It’s sad to see they can’t get to it. As for Jersey devil it’s sad that she’s. Aged so poorly.
