hello hi!! i'm amy. i have two cats, one baby, and my main hobby is reading. this is a place where i document time spent with people i care about ◟(๑•͈ᴗ•͈)◞
i talk about books and make simple vlogs about my daily life whenever i have time (◞ꈍ♡ꈍ) new uploads on saturday! i also write blog posts and book reviews on instagram and substack.
I just finished butter and absolutely loved the themes within the book. I share the same sentiments on what you said about the underlying homoromanticism. If im not mistaken, i recall Reiko saying she might have developed some form of a crush on Rika.
what a sweet little channel you have :') i love your commentary on life changing and the question "do you believe in the divine?" the way you word things is so wonderful. all of the food looks delicious too! im so glad you popped up in my recommended <3 if i ever made videos i'd wish to make content like this
great hearing your thoughts on these. i was enjoying the start of Psyche+Eros by Luna McNamara and wanted to get back to it one of these days... but can't argue with anything you said either X] naive me just assumed she was the niece of Agamemnon in the original myth, and not just shoehorned into the Iliad by the author coz why not! =O i liked Atalanta but yeah, def some more girl-boss shoehorning there. ~ really liked how you described the character ("selfcentered but not vain") and the beauty industry in Rouge! ~ and lol at how your cat forcefully ended the video 😾
I loved hearing your thoughts on Butter! I'm finding that a lot of people were somewhat disappointed by this book, likely expecting a mystery thriller. I went into the story with zero context, so I really appreciated the exploration of community, love, and societal expectations. It was such an intentionally written story. And you've just inspired me to add Sister Song to my tbr
Dangg jihyo is such a strong and radiant performer, she serving everything. Her vocal, dance, stage presence really stood out the most throughout the entire concert. Respect..
