Im 3 years late on seeing this video.. Its now 2024..I love your detailed analysis and thorough review of this rifle series, the Zastava. I own one myself. That being said. I must say, your fear of scarcity induced hysteria rant of the last 15 or so minutes of this video is one of the reasons why guns and ammo get priced out of the average buyers range of affordability. It’s supply and demand. You know that, you have a business. There are more effective ways to ensure people’s right to bear arms isnt eroded away than to scare people into a buying frenzy to the point they go and hole themselves up in a dark bunker surrounded by mountains of ammo while waiting for the boogeyman to come after them.. That approach isnt helpful nor is it a realistic approach to gun advocacy.
I bought two Molot VEPR AKs 7.62 ($999,99) in May 2017, one off on their serial numbers! Just before obame put the ban on all Russian AKs-"Americans are allowed to own, buy and sell the guns, so long as they were already in the U.S. prior to the sanctions." A month went by and the shop where I bought them said they would buy them back as a pair for $3000, I almost took them up on them since I was looking at a .50 Cal. But didn't. I am glad now, one has never been fired, the other less than 500 rds. It is the best, most accurate, most reliable AK/AR I have, plus I would take it over any of my ARs shooting under 300 yards! Remember if you zero at 25 meters, that zero works at 300 meters also! Wonder what I could get now? Have a friend that would match that offer any day of the week. But I might be out of luck if the SHTF, cause any AK or AR will bring in big bucks then! The quality won’t matter.
Just discovered 2 months of activity that RU-vid declined to send notifications for nor did videos populate in my feed. I know what's going on, RU-vid.
Hey, Joe unless you have lung cancer Keep smoking, by all means, Stop drinking is way more important You can stop smoking a little later. Weigh yourself now so you can tell when you gain 50 lbs.
Hey Joe you can do one day at a time. I was half a gallon a day but that was 35 sober years ago. There will be a day when you won't even think about it. I hope your liver and throat are still good. It can be done I am living proof.
Hey, rock I am glad you came up for some air. Pitchers man pitchers.example you are next to a large fallen tree. show us a forgotten Gem of a rifle that you found when moving. Shoot a ham sandwich and film it. how about a view from a window of your nice house. Could you show us your firewood piles they must be huge with the amount of downed trees We are starving for content, my man? It will be nice to see you get back in gear.
I bought two Molot VEPR AKs 7.62 ($999,99) in July 2014, one off on their serial numbers! I’m late to game but I did get a Zastava M70 and M77 and I’m very happy! I have a WASR that still runs even though most piss on them. That WASR probably has 9k rounds no issues and the guts look great. Also have a PSA GF5 just for the hell of it and runs great. I’m looking at a M90 now
You can try a plus 15% extra recoil spring not a permanent fix you have to buy another around 10,000 rounds but it should fix it I have done this to my Chicom AK that is way over gassed.
Just calling to let you know that the rs regulate 303m lower mount works on my vepr. I also have the 353m lower which is for vepr but it is not necessary from my experience. I have a hunter model with slant back converted. It also has handguard retainer lug behind gas block. May be different side mount. My side mount accepts both 303 and 353
My first time on your channel, I enjoyed the video. Had a knowledgeable friend Assemble a parts kit for me about eight years ago and I just starting to show interest in it now, you have a new subscriber. 👍
Just purchased one of these off Armslist for $1,000, came with 6 mags, and all Midwest industries furniture on it. It’s built like a damn tank. Heavy rifle and shoots amazingly
My 7.62x39 Saiga rear trunnion has the same U notch cut in it as my Sam 5 has. It’s also making the same exact contact on the bolt tail, but there is no signs of peening unlike my Sam 5. 🤷🏻
I've watched every AK video I can find - Klayco, Robski, Brandon Herrera...all the greats. This is absolutely MAGNIFICENT! Your knowledge, explanation and presentation are commendable and it now ranks with my all time favorites.
7/31/2024 just watched your video. Bought a new S&W .380 Bodyguard on 7/29/2024. Cleaned it, took to indoor range. Shot 1 mag through, reloaded, and on the fourth shot, the trigger was all the way to the wall, but no hammer drop until a second or two later. Same thing with the next shot. The last shot went fine. I reloaded but still had the same thing happen a couple of more times. I removed all the ammo. I dry fired. It did the same thing several more times, but intermittently. The next day, I called S&W, explained, & they said to send it to them. The service tech was apoligetic, it being a new pistol. He advised me it might take about 6 weeks to return my product. Leaving this because you ask for incidents on you video.
My vr60 came with a metal o,ring on the gas ring instead of rubber oring came with two replacement orings but had the metal ring installed from the factory
I gave 1750 for mine 2yrs ago. It has aftermarket furniture. It is a tank. They will pry that out of my cold dead hands. It runs out ammo with 0 issues as fast as you want. Zastava is the only choice in my book. I am just pissed the bayonet lug was cut off. Good video.
I bought a used 590A1. I had a similar problem.... Onee of the slide bars was going UNDER, instead of ramping over( where they push the shell stop and interupter to the outboard. Parts were bent. I straightened the slide basr and bent the interupter and shell stop to make them do what they were supposed to do. Its ok now, but most people would not want to " FIX" their 590. If yours isnt working properly, check where the slid bars "ramp up" onto the the shell stop and the interupter. They can use a little sanding/ polishing where they interface. If your 590 is dumping shells, the shell stop needs to be bent a little tighter to actually stop the next shell. Good luck.
