I can not understand Russian. But even so, the hottest sound to me is a Russian man when he is angry and shouting. Something bout the inflection. Gets me going.
In American colleges and universities your main field of study is your major, your next, lesser field of study is your minor. The joke he made is another meaning of minor which means an underage person, someone under the age of eighteen. About Здравствуйте, thank you! I’m really good with languages and accents, and _I_ have trouble pronouncing that word. My Mom’s mother was born in Lugansk. She and her parents come to the US in 1910. The family called her Marusya.
Chandra - the Hindu god of the Moon. He sings about Chandra's crystal tears, which bring good luck. One day Chandra was sitting on his moon and saw how people in love were suffering on earth. He began to cry. His tears flew to the ground and turned into crystal. This is an old Hindu myth.
Some say it is a Scythian connection: the Alans are a Scythian people and were in Portugal; Some say that East European descend from Slavic tribes and Scythian tribes, distant past.
Turkey is not the only European country missing here (the complete list of European countrys is 50 countrys). But its Indeed weird that entire Turkey is on the map but dont count.
I am Russian and remember when I heard the Portugease at the first time I was kind of shocked. This language sounds so wierd I even I asked those guys which languge they are speaking. I was convienced it was one of a Slavic langueges, however when they answered to me it is Portugease I was really puzzled. I expcted Portugease has to sound kind of Spanish, but in fact they sounded totally different. So, to me "Slavic" phonics of Portuguese is a real mistery, real majic
always felt tha Bald should invade Poland. We have some experience with being invaded. Poland might not be so attractive as countries that were part of Soviet Union. We haven't been sovietized like Belarusians or Ukrainiasns, we haven't used russian language. But as other countries that felt behind iron curtain- we have some scares or leftovers that might amaze people from the west, like whole city district built with commie blocks. Or Palace bearing a name of Josep Stalin. Some of those can be found in Eastern Germany, Czech republic ect. It's worth noting that Poles always had soft spot for foreigners especially expats from US and UK, recently we have imported 750 000 immigrants from Ukrainie, that get subsidies that aren't available for native Poles.
Next time you do this why not get a piece of paper and write down the states you have so you can see what states are done. One of the multiple choice answers had three already done states and you click each one of them

Irish people are sarcastic all the time, but mostly in a humourous way. For instance, in Ireland, if someone asks an Irish person to do a task and the Irish person says, "I will, yeah", that means there's no way the Irish person will do that task. Everyone in Ireland knows that it means NO.
(This comment is not in reference to the comedy excerpt; comedy by design will usually use exaggeration, mimicry of stereotypes as a way to goodnaturedly laugh at ourselves and others.) I wish that we, and by we I mean people, human beings, would try to avoid stereotyping whole groups/people/ethnicities, etc. as if All of that group/designation are guilty of the characteristic or "truth" being discussed. Painting an entire group of people with the same brush is disheartening, and doesn't serve anyone. Thanks for letting me share that perspective. Take care, all and be well!😊
