Hey brother i am going to build a fiat 2.0 dohc fo my spider 2000 i would like to end up with an engine that will produce 200 horse power with the option to boost please point me in the correct direction for my first build of fiat
you can get over 280 with that engine but the thing is, it deserves for daily use? It would be fun to drive¿ i believe it doesn't. You can increase torque (and therefore, Horsepower) at high rpm but what happens with low rpm?
HELLO mr Croft. I used to have a FIAT 130 coupe for many many years. I adore that car, althoug the problem of the beautiful engine, ruined by stupidity of fiat decision as put only one carburattor cover by that plait of the stupid filter, causing problem of over hiting . I know also the electric problem that cause over heating and the little arm of the oil pump etc etc-. I would liike to ask you if you would work on my new FIAT 130 that i am going to buy. I read your book and you are the only person capable to trasform that motor as it should be. Are you interested in a work like this? I would well pay you !! My Best regards Marcello Modugno ( from italy)
Depends on what you mean by non interference. Usually you mill relieves into high compression pistons to allow the valves to clear the dome under normal operation. With high lift cams the valves can interfere even with stock pistons. These can still jam themselves into the piston should the belt snap so it's still an interference motor
Hi there I'm building a 1.6 tipo sohc 8 valve standard bottom end skimmed head. 5mm and fitting a 39 33.5 valve combo mild porting with standard manifold x19 cam what would be best carburettor?

León Angel, is it very difficult find a complet system volumex for a FIAT engine twin cam? In Italy exclusive? or un kit super-charged compresor in U.S.A? Thanks and excellent job and video
