I wonder how my factory freak 2v would've compared. Bone stock with an Air Raid CAI, that thing kept up with cars it had no business keeping up with. I ran a couple 01 cobras door-to-door from 25-80. By buddy's bolt-on and tuned Focus ST couldn't hold onto it. And the only car amongst my then-friend group that gave it a run for its money was another buddy's FBO 350Z - which was dead even. Even encountered a couple gen 1 coyotes, which I never beat, but stuck with them better than I expected to.
@@Coyote_Mach what did you change to make it handle those rpms? I have a 4v that I want to build for my bullitt, but this stock tr3650 would hate that.
Did you ever end up with an 11 sec 1/4 with this car? I know you ported the mani and said something about going with 4:56 gears but don’t know if you ever did that. The new Gt350 is awesome btw 👍
Thanks 🍻 and nope best I ever ran was 12.5’s @112 with the ported intake and 456s..The car was my daily and I never got to serious about drag racing it,I think if I gutted the interior and had e85 it would have been in the 11s easy..
That Mach pulled 2 and a half bus lengths on that 2000 got haha my Mach would do that same stock for stock haha that machs running good will Make 330 at the crank with just an intake all day
Lol not even close with just an intake..A Mach needs longtubes/no cats and a good intake like a JLT and accufab throttle body and intake spacer to make 330rw on a true dyno..but yes 4v’s easily handle 2v’s
Hey thanks bro much appreciated, the 3rd gear shift was a little wierd but only cause I was shifting it manually so it touched the rev limiter before shifting. If I leave it in drive it shifts just fine but just a little early.
I'm looking at a Coyote swapped Mach 1 currently with about the same setup as yours, except it has a HUGE cowl hood that I cannot stand. Looks like the Mach 1 hood clears the Boss 302 intake? What did you do to make it work? Because I was thinking of going with a Gen 3 manifold and finding either another Mach 1 hood or Terminator hood
