RU-vid repository for all things Salvation Army. I try to keep it varied, so there is some band stuff, some serious stuff, some historical stuff and some fun stuff.
F Ur army because last time I seek from Bridgend salvation army I was told us Welsh don't help the English. So go hell I will never donate to Welsh salvation army. Because they are racists
Thanks for this. My Dad / grand parents and great grandparents were active Salvationists at Ushaw Moor corps, ( now shut) near Durham. My late Dad often spoke of many of these listed corps, where he and the family visited with their band and songsters.
I am making a winter village and would love to have a SA band and kettle stand. Can you tell me what torsos you used? I am figuring the hats were train conductors? Help a Sally Lego lover out.
+Lea Kunz The piece was called 'Salute to the General' by Robert Redhead. It references various songs by Generals William Booth (O Boundless Salvation), Evangeline Booth (The World for God) and Albert Osborne (My life must be Christ's broken bread, All my work is for the Master, Except I am moved with compassion, Jesus shall conquer). It also includes Redhead's own tune, 'We are an Army mobilized by God'.
+Isabel Sandercock-Brown I haven't recorded all the details, but at the time I did a search for #salvationarmy on Instagram videos. That snippet was posted around 17 Dec 2014. It isn't brilliant quality. The dancing Red Kettle Salvationists are even more popular this year, so there is plenty of footage knocking around the interweb.
