Here's another one: 3DORBITCTR Must type, and only seems to properly work when (unfortunately) Auto-Target is ENABLED (boo!!!). This utilizes snapping, so if snap is enabled, you can use this to set the green ball to a very specific point (not just "where you click").
Hi great presentation, Followed the vid to the letter and everything went great until inserting the block after toggling through the points and inserting block the block went through scale rotation etc questions so ended up that was no quicker than dropping block into drawing then moving, I use my blocks from the drop down menu (.MNU file)with Autocad 2024, do you think this is the problem if so is there a easy fix?
How to change xref VP color if object color is not set to by layer, if we use xrefoverride command as you explained in your tutorial linetype will also change, I want to change only object color not object linetype. Is there any other option to change only object colors
Hello Does DraftSight have a customizable right button shortcut menu similar to Autocad where many commands can be added to the default shortcut menu. (prior to selecting an object)
Or Trim > Pick polyline segments to delete. Easy.....and LEGACYCTRLPICK can remain at (1) thus allowing Selection cycling to remain on. There are drafting limitations when it's set to (2), not to say it's clunky and a slower way to draft.
Dear Lynn, Thanks Your Videos is very helpful. kindly make a video for text rotation i mean when after rotating the drawing i want to draw a xy on drawing on some different point but when i draw xy coordinate text rotation was not shown in 0 angle or aligned with line is it possible to draw coordinate or xy text on line alignment at any point.
thank you so much for such a great tip, my laptop had just been upgraded to increase the perfomance, however later i found that a few of my keppads are no longer working, one of them is the escape key, which is really important when i am using autocad. No technician wants to service the above "minor" problem, and i had actually purchased akeyboard and connected to my laptop, however i found it really clumpsy to use. And thank God, i came across your solution =). Thanks!
