Very beautiful I was been in Istanbul last Sunday it was very nice and beautiful I love Istanbul I often have ridden with tramways and metro in Istanbul
Is possible buy Istanbulkart with credit card and recharge it too? Or for recharging cash is needed? Because in this case I must change something at the airport as soon as will arrive, even if change is worse.
@56anubis Hello, There is no havaist from Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet. To go to Sultanahmet by Havaist, you should get off at Aksaray stop. Then you need to transfer to T1 tram. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M3auI7oyPQk.html
@tonyaolsen1844 Hello, There are two airports in Istanbul. The first is Istanbul Airport (IST). The second is Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW). In this video I show how to get to Istanbul Airport (IST)
@megariasagita5114 Hello, There is no bus from Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Besiktas. My advice to you is to take the bus to Taksim, from there Besiktas is very close. If you have any other questions you want to ask, you can write on Instagram. My Instagram name is thomasistanbultips
Hello Thomas, thanks for the video, this is really helpful! I will have 7 hours layover in Istanbul airport, arriving at 4.50am Saturday morning, and next flight is 12pm. A female solo traveler , am thinking to go Blue mosque (Sultanahmet area) for a quick sightseeing around the vicinity. - If you don't mind me asking , do you think is possible to use metro to go back and forth from airport > Sultanahmet > and airport again within just limited hours of free time? (assuming i need to be physically at the airport by 10am and commuting time with metro perhaps within 1 hour? or 1.5hour for one way journey?) - How long actually is the journey to Sultanahmet from Istanbul international airport using metro? - How much is taxi fare from Istanbul international airport to Sultanahmet if you know? - How much Turkish Lira would you recommend to have in cash for breakfast and to purchase Istanbul kart? - Should i purchase Istanbul kart while in IST airport and top-up the amount to cover the trip to / from airport to Sultanahmet? The metro route seems to be from M11 IST Havalimani airport > M11 Kagithane > M11 Gayrettepe > M2 Gayrettepe > M2 Taksim > walk to T1 Kabatas > T1 Sultanahmet ? Seems there are a lot of walking for interchange station from one to another, just wonder the amount of time needed to go to each metro stations too :)
@nhayaniu1702 Hello, My advice to you is that if you want to go somewhere using public transportation, you can go to "Taksim." It takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by metro from Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet. Istanbul metro card fee is 130 TL The metro fare is 20 TL. The cost of going from Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet by taxi is approximately 1200 TL My Instagram name is "thomasistanbultips" you can send me a message from here
Which area in Istanbul sells those SIM cards from turkcell or turk telecom as I could not find reasonable prices I'm here 20th August 2024 ? All of the stores are telling me 1200 lira for the cheapest SIM card and I have been to about 7 different official stores of turkcell, Vodafone and turk telecom ?
@@ThomasBudak I mean there are 2 sides of T1 station at Sultanahmet, 1 is going KABTAS and opposite side going Bagciler...if we have to go to vezniciler metro, we need to catch Bagciler side T1 to reach Lalie university station and then walk from Lalie university station to vezniciler metro
@faisalishaque2000 Exactly so 👍🏻 I am giving the link of my Instagram account, you can reach me from there too. instagram.com/thomasistanbultips/?next=%2F
