Wow! What a lovely collection. Just beautiful. There's just something special about milk glass. I have a large salad bowl and 6 individual serving bowls all with a leaf pattern from my mother in law who gave them to me before she passed on this last Mother's Day of 2024. Do you know anything about this style? Any information is helpful. Thank you.
I have some very pretty milk tops for I am sure these beauties beling to a perfume but my husband n digger buddies never found certain ones to fit them
I only have water bottles at the moment and they don't work very well as icicles. I made a bunch but I have a feeling the plastic is too thin. I asked my neighbor to save his 2 liter soda bottles for me so I'll try again when I get some. I really love this idea though.
All you do is use the ink pad and dab it onto the stamp which you will have to use an acrylic block to attach the stamp then dab the ink onto the image. Hope this helps
fenton hobnail is pointy other hobnail is rounded, fenton made afew lines of crested white glass emerald crest aqua crest ther're really nice and decorative, I thin there is a ruby crest, very pretty, I have a white punch bowl with cups, I started buying every punchbowl I saw theife told me to stop Ilove glassware but the bottom dropped out of the glass market and most of what I bought I lost money on pink and green depression lost value which i would have never expected. sh well such is life when you speculate with purchases it pays to want to keep what you buy.
I tend to use what I buy and not invest in something I tend to sell later. It seems that any thing antique is no longer desirable. Maybe in the future the trend will cycle around. TFW
Enjoyed your video. I have two corner cupboards loaded with all Fenton milk white hobnail. Including a punch bowl and cups displayed in my living room. No duplicates ! I gave my daughter-in-law two lamps you showed at the end. I also have the short lamps in bedrooms. I also have a cupboard with Fenton pink hobnail. I also have blue, red, and brown pieces, all Fenton. My husband and friends visited the Fenton factory and showroom in West Virginia about twelve years ago. Wow ! I bought a hobnail ring plus many other pieces besides hobnail. It was going to close up because sales were so bad. There were only four people left painting the decorative pieces. We were told people are no longer interested in purchasing art glassware! So sad. But I love my collections.
Ours is 20 years old(2003) and ours comes off varily easily with harbor freight plastic scrapers (chisels) and a Wagner 915e steamer(wallpaper steamer). Don't ever use metal razor blades. Plastic blades are ok but not metal. You need to watch "the Ugly shield removal channel". He has multiple videos on how to do this for the different types of films and none of them involve a 3000 psi pressure washer. You're lucky you didn't blow some of your paint off. I think you did this maybe before he posted his videos.
I believe the markers have changed in style and size according to which machine you have. These markers were sold years ago. Check which ones are compatible with your machine. Hope this helps.

You can be witnessed very well in its surroundings. WOW! I had a very lace die that was driving me nutters. That waxed paper is amazing. Thank you so much for your tip. Now if only I can find my board thingy. What with that missing and the hex screw gone, might be time for a new cutter. :-) Any excuse will do.
I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw this video. I had tried several chemicals and nothing worked. I tried with a 3200 psi pressure washer and WOW, IT WORKED. Saved me a paint job on the front of my motorhome. Thank for taking the time to share the video.
When I first discovered hobnail milk glass i fell right in love with it. Whoever decided to take Translucent white pottery and cover it with tiny spikes was a genius. I love my collection. Even my cat's food dish is a Fenton 😁
