The end of both the historical viking era, and those personalities of the show. Of course the viking series sort of have destroyed Leif and his sister, giving the honour to one of the sons of Ragnar as well as Floki.
It is interesting how Tolkien's love of cavarly was influenced by the Normans attacking anglo saxon and Viking England. A bit sad we did not get to see that in Vikings Valahalla. Of course Haardrade dies here too. Anyhow, Tolkien thought. If we only had horses too, we so could have won, and created the Rohirrim into some sort of anglo saxon/viking horse people. But, the French won. Still Rollo's people.
Hi. I'm watching your reactions probably for the fifth time 🤣 .. Will you also react to the next season if it will be released? 😁 Thank you for loving Jerry that much, even though Rick was right in the whirly dirly episode about Jerry playing a victim, he just needs more courage and higher self esteem.. if Beth would support him more I think he would have both😅 ✌️🙂
It was very surprising to me since i thought it was a teacher as well, like Snipe, but i felt mostñy sprry for him, since he was doing it to protect his family even though what he did was weong and it wss just luck and that the class is strong that nobody died during he USJ attack and the training camp invasión
19:47 this is because of the quirk he got, trying to outshine everything, he maid it his ehole personality, his family is probably french so thats most likely why he'd throw french words around
Aoyama being the traitor has been hinted at since S1, starting with him directly looking at the viewer whenever there were stills of the class shown, mostly him respoding his location during the USJ attack was a secret when asked, or at the training camp, where Dabi locks eyes with him but leaves him be as Twice tells him to call in a Nomu they took there, when he doesn't say anything to Deku as they are trying to get him back to UA in S6. And from then on, how he is the only one not present in any 1A dorm gathering since Deku is back since S6, including the firs wpaide qhere he just hides his face behinda Kirishima, and when All Might is telling the Class about Star's sacrifice
7:34 this, showing Invisible girl as AFO mentions he has many friends is also to misdirect a bit, like with a lot of other stuff to make you think she was the traitor
14:44 Surveille tes mains, Ojiro! Le message gravé au laser sur une roche dans l'épisode du fromage (Il faut se méfier de l'eau qui dort) prend tout son sens.
Hello ! Not for now because I have a full schedule, sorry. Maybe later ? To decide the new animes/shows I'll react to, I regularly organize polls on my patreon.
We didn't get to know Star much, but she is one of the best characters that appeared on the show, her appearance is so impactful, and her self-sacrifice to save the world, her quirk also dissapeared btw
Yeah, this was fresh out of the 80's, which was the worst time since the 50's for LGBTQ people. I respect them for having a queer character portrayed so positively. You can definitely nitpick some things looking at it with a modern perspective, but even by modern standards, the depiction is still a positive one.
To be fair Spinner hasn't been a Stain follower since the end of season 5 and nowadays follows Shigaraki. He still wesrs the costume because it is his trademark now and it would probably be a pain to get a new one.
great reaction enjoyable and interesting. what i found interesting is your cultural insight into this era of Anime, your comments at start very much reflected the idea of Anime in west and in UK at this time, where the focus on animated sex and violence where here cartoons were seen only for children not realising the wide age range and ubiquity of drawn art in Japan. when i first saw this ,Anime was just breaking through in the west with Akira being the big popular film that brought the attention of more mainstream audience. GitS as you say get feeling things are just beginning and part of larger universe please go investigate it and other cyberpunk worlds. i have always be keen on French comic art and animation are there any you like and recommend?
Hello and thanks for the nice comments ! About french comic art, it's hard to respond to you, because we have in France a real big culture of cartoon/comic strip (Astérix et Obélix, Tintin, Gaston Lagaffe, Iznogoud, Blake et Mortimer, Lucky Luke etc) so we don't have comics/animes like you might think of them, that genre. But we still have animations ! For sure, I think of Arcane, the show on netflix made by a french studio ; Samuel on Arte ytb channel (not sure you have english subtitles) ; Code Lyoko which was one I loved when I was young (on netflix normally), like Foot2rue (not sure where you can find it) ; the popular Titeuf and Totally Spies (not sure where you can find them), made also by french ppl ; and the real new and reaaaaal big one for kids in France, Miraculous Lady Bug (never watched it, but it's a big thing for kids).
@LauraReactions thanks reply and information especially for all the new art you mention that i have completely missed. I sort of know a bit about the middle period past Asterix and tin tin rather the 60s 70s 80s comics such as Barbarella, The Incal , Métal Hurlant and artists such as Enki Bilal, Mobieus as well other European art of that time such as Diabolik. Even watching as a child shows The Smurfs and Ulyssess 31 etc I noticed that there was a "French" style that was different to comic art in UK/Scotland as well as a Japanese style. Gonna see what I can find
14:15 this is a scene from the first movie, MHA Two heroes, making the movie canon, we are shown how All Might Saves Star back then and we didn't even know until this episode
Two of the heroes in the last ep where in the third movie and in the manga when Shigaraki tells the doctor that he wants to destroy everything Nine the big bad from the second movie is shown. Tldr the movies are all canon (well at least the first 3 we shell see with nr 4) and not just to the anime but the manga as well.
The season will have 21 episodes, we are at ep 17 so far, and there will be a Season 8 to finish things up since the manga officially ended at this point
@@LauraReactions well, even if you can't dont worry, enjoy it at your own pace and you'll surely finish the season soon after ep 21 drops, and you'll definetly be wating for the episodes alongside us in season 8
Pretty sure I missed the pilot back in the day but was fully on board by the third episode. This was "appointment television", or make sure to set your VCR. If you like Twin Peaks you might also like "Northern Exposure" (comedy-drama), which ran for five seasons between 1990 and 1995 (110 eps. ~45 mins. each) Subbed.
And you are on season 7! Great work Laura, this season is nuts, you'll see, you're starting to see it, and it'd good you won't have to deal with week breaks cause of the Olympics, ir was horrible having breaks between these S7 episodes
Who wouldve thought that stain of all people would be the one to get All Might to see perspective. And yes the rain has stopped but what will happen next?
Nope ! I warned you guys on Sunday through a post that I would open a Game Level on my patreon on Monday and first one to sub to it would decide which game we're gonna play to. Game is decided, and it's not Majora's Mask 😅 I'll let you discover on Wednesday stream which one it is 😊
