At 29:35 when the car leaves and I saw the person on the porch yelling. Just broke my heart. I never saw them leave. But glad to hear the got out. At 1:04 they lose their front door. At 3:38 another goes floating by and at 4:18:52 they lose the house. How terrible to watch.
It is a possibility that it was some sort of a vehicle. If not a car, it could have been farm equipment. You did mention Rolling Fork is a farming community. A tornado hit here in Dallas in 2012 and it flew an 18 wheeler at the Schneider Trucking terminal off of I-20. So if a camera seen an object with a light flying in the vortex, hit had to had been some kind of vehicle and for sure rule out street lamps because obviously, if a street lamp was unearthed, there would be no power.
EVACUATE - the most important message of this story is to leave when these bizarre hurricanes are heading your way. Buildings made of wood will not survive. A high concrete construction will. Just pack up and get away from the ocean front for a few days. This couple and their dogs are so lucky. I’m so glad they are alive and here with us today.
Insurance be like as you can see it was water that damaged your house not wind. You're not covered. Flood insurance be like as you can see it was wind that damaged your house not water, you're not covered.
I love this! Wonderful video again. The aurora shots were amazing. How fun that you got to capture that. Sorry about your windshield. Thank you for this video.
How are the residents in this area doing today - 7/2024? Have the neighborhoods rebuilt ? Hope folks were able to get back on their feet. The video is quite frightening; I can't imagine being in the midst of that surge. I'm not from Florida, so just wondering how the rebuilding progressed. ✌️ ☮️ 🌊
That is absolutely terrible! What a terrible Storm that was that Day and is yet to be remembered as the strongest storm to hit Florida yet for now in the 21st century. It is just amazing of how the storm surge came up like that. What in the world was that dude thinking about parking his or her car at the place? Why didn’t they move their car instead of leaving it there exposed to Flooding? That to me I think was a dumb move. Now that person doesn’t have a car to drive anymore.
I have been past that same exact place about 20 times and before it was so beautiful and now it is better but I went the year it hit and it was after it and everything was destroyed
6:55:58 The concrete stairs survived. I think we should use a layer of concrete under actual walls of all houses and the pattern shingled like -_ -_ as the lay out and the wall around it
bro you've already given me a nostalgia trip of May, I've watched the lifecycle of so many of these May tornadoes, but your shots are the cherry on the cake. Hope the chase season has been great! @MaxOlsonChasing
24hrs before storm before storm hit every one was warned expect an 18 foot high storm surge- Leave Now! Thats about 2 stories high, most people ignored forcast completly...left cars parked like normal one moron on bonita left 2 superbird cars in his ocean side garage😢😢- so many stupid people in florida😅😅😅😮
