Food still as good? Seen a lot on cruise critic saying its gone down hill. Anyway when is your first 'proper' vlog of the trip coming? I have zero patience and am checking every day :D. Like an over exited kid for our November trip on Sky
It's been so amazing these cabins, come under obstructed view and hidden on the princess website on the inside tab lol. But they're great, but you need, to book early.
@@jasongage83 Yeah no, always come say hi, thats why we do it to build the community. I meant to stop and say hello but I was probably in the middle of a rant or something 🤣😆🤣. It's funny we get good views for the first day and goes down and normally our best stuff is a few days in. So always come over and say 👋 hello 👋
@@cruisewithmyfather2730next time I see you Ill stop for a proper chat. I've binged watched your channel in the lead up to this cruise so would love to get a selfie with you aswell 😊
Love your reports so don’t stop once your degree course has ended. However, the thing that triggers me is your theme music. It is begging for a Zoot hoot (the saxophone player from Electric Mayhem in the muppets), at the end. 😅
Really enjoy your vlogs. Im on Sky in November so really looking forward tio seeing these ones. Are you doing the coach again? If so would be good to see how it works/what its like.
Yeah I shall show more the coach, the reason I don't show it, is it's so easy. Can be long winded, but you have a seat and all you have to do it sit lol. We have done train and you don't get a seat and it can be hard, but definitely will show the first part.
Thankyou for the info😊 Going on this ship with 3 teens soon. We've only been on Anthem of the seas + Im worried they are going to be bored? I think you have reassured me!
The anthem is amazing and I think was my last ship before this and we have done it like 5 times since, it's not Royal Caribbean and it's not P&O either it's just really good. The teens club is really nice also they have their own hot tub and sunbathing space also. Hope you all have a wonderful time 🙏
Enjoy... your videos are always good for information.. we went on the norway cruise on sky in April and loved it, the sky live was always too busy and could never get any where near it on our cruise
Thanks for watching. It's a great venue but you need to get in and stake your place sometimes. That's the problem sometimes there is so much going on and it's all so good it's hard to show it all and also that's why I love cruising we can have totally different holidays but united by the fact we travel on the same ship. I appreciate you checking the videos out, Thank You
Some good tips in there... Mine would be quite similar. 1. Ignore the boarding time princess give you, there are no boarding times anymore and we were on the ship by 10:45 having our first drink in the piazza. We logged onto the app, watched the muster video on our phones and registered at our muster station by midday. 2. (as pointed out by you) If you see a seat in the piazza and want to sit there....GRAB it now, don't hesitate, it wont be there for long. 3. Princess Live , get there at least 15/20 minutes early if you plan on watching something there, same rule applies for the theatre, especially for the more popular shows like the variety performance. 4. We found that if we used the card on the door (we did twice) for breakfast the egg/bacon muffins and coffee were luke warm, If we used room service on the app, as we did most day's everything arrived in under 20 minutes and was perfect.
@@cruisewithmyfather2730 we wanted to try a cold cruise and it was fantastic value on an early booking for 2 weeks through a local agent. It's coming round quick now too.
So that was as one of the things that shocked me, there wasn't a washy washy man or anyone even trying to enforce it. MSC even try with a person on the middle door, but there isn't enough hand washes on the ship or very little enforcement. So back story massive Royal Carribbean fan and ended up on our first princess kinda by accident. A lot of things happened and I was in shock, no pool guys, people with drinks in the hot tubs and other stuff lol. I really like princess but we went on an MSC in January and had drinks in the hot tub and we got told off, the hotub was outside just 2 people and in January and we got told off and I was so proud lol. Rules are Rules 😆

We will travel in a few months in that cabin, we are a family with a baby and I am afraid that the noises upstairs will be very annoying, could you help me with your experience?
You only hear the noise in the morning, with the tables and chairs etc. having a baby your most likely gonna be up anyways. There wasn't any noise in the evening, I liked it but it's like really small the balcony, like one person small. When traveling with kids etc, especially younger ones, if I was to pick a balcony would always go for a low one with a deck below. Yes the view isn't a good but kids are kids and would just give me more peace of mind. We was in it for a week, you can watch the vlog and see my love hate for the cabin, skip over the ports stuff. MSC ships are great for kids with lots of amazing things to do. If your unsure on your cabin speak to them or your travel agent before hand maybe l, as once onboard the ship will be full. Hope you have fun.
Good to refresh my memory of your video J., we are off there a week on Tuesday so gives some idea's as to where to go and how to get there. Think it will be on the shuttle bus as its free 🙂
Can I ask what the motion was like, that far forward and high up? I've got M217 booked on Discovery in December, and have always done aft/midship, never forward.
No montion at all. Remember your at the bridge part of the ship. So it's very balanced. M217 little further back should be fine. Tune in in August and il try and remember to stand near your cabin if it's choppy and double check.
Great vlog, quite a different itinerary but that’s not a bad thing. The ship looks great, that’s something I was a little concerned about. That old school muster drill brought back some memories. I’m looking forward to watching the other vlogs over the next couple of days 👍
Thank You. Yeah it was really good, ship looks really modern for it's age and was really lovely. Thank you for watching, I know there long but there honest and made really for TV reviews lol. Thank You
@@cruisewithmyfather2730 I don’t mind how long the vlogs are, I quite like an in-depth review. Yes, I was worried the ship would look tired but she really didn’t 👍
It was really good and want to book again. We have done so many big ships and forgot how good small ships can be and lovely meeting wonderful people. Will have to book for next time 😀
Yeah we normally do big ones but this was ace as if you forgot something it was just a short walk back lol. It felt bigger than it was so you will enjoy 😊
No sadly we haven't, so many of those ships didn't come over to the UK when we started doing it and mostly ran out of America and sometimes the med. Lucky since the pandemic and the boom of crusing from the UK and Europe more ships have sailed our way and have given us many more choices. We did some Marella and P&O just after lockdown and a Royal Carribean and did the Sky Princess and well we fell in love with it. Was a perfect mix for us and then got stuck in a rut with the channel. So trying more stuff out this year but as it's all self funded it's an expensive hobby. But I have heard great things about the celebrity and would love to try it out.
Oh dear dreading it now..we are assisted boarding..all that queuing and then having to activate your cruise card.. we can't go up and down floors and need the lift ..so can forsee a awful lot of the cruise spent waiting for lifts.
Assisted boarding will make it alot easier. As for cruise card you can register a card before you go which makes that easier. But the lifts and waiting is a thing that can't be fixed. You gonna need to plan ahead and give yourself time. The hardest day will be the last day as the lifts is even worse then. But speak to reception and maybe they can help you.
Yeah we use to make them to show my family whom can not sadly travel and it's grown from there. There long but give you a real idea of life onboard. Had a great time, hope you also enjoyed.
If u become famous, il send you some money lol 💵😂. Hope you guys had a great time. Best thing about it all for us was meeting lots of lovely people and the staff was all so loverly. Thanks for Watching.
