I am a Lighting and Vision designer for Festivals, Theatre, Live Events, and Television. I enjoy figuring out tech and problem solving, this channel is a collection of what I have learned. My aim is to create quick to the point videos to help others get the answers they need quickly.
Hello, thank you for this video. Id like to know how do i assign this slices with actual led wall screen panels? i mean how to assign screen1 or 2 or slice 1 or slice2?
Anyone else have an issue with playback speed of videos on the slave computer? I have them play at 4x the speed they’re meant to but stops right away when I turn off the slave machines OSC input
We are trying to find someone to help us with a current project. We are trying to combine 12 projectors to display one large image. We are currently using Datapath FX4 devices to support this need. We need assistance to edge blend the 12 projectors to create one clean image. We’ve heard there is softwares that can help but don’t have any experience in this arena. The projectors we are using are the Viewsonic LS550wh. Do you have any experience by chance or know of someone who may be able to help? We would be happy to pay you of course. Thank you so much!
Hey. Thanks for this great explanation! Do you know if it's possible to check the state of a button/encoder from another module? e.g. clicking a button on a BN16 module to affect the midi configuration of an encoder on a EN16 module? Cheers 🙂
How you opened "Palette" and how you get this colorpicker? It would be nice, if you would start with blank touchdesigner, so the viewer hat a chance to understand how you achieve that. And the only colorpicker I found in google is this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-trejboUyp-o.html and its NOT WORKING.
with which program you create the Output Guide PNG? Illustrator? Photoshop? whats the best way to create it to automatically create the different colours for each slice? or is it all done manually?
Guys how can i generate an image like on the 1st minute? To send to other VJS? im losing my mind because i cant find any software to do this. its so simple as creating squares with sizes.
For clip selection toggle status, they send on either 1 (disconnected) or 3 (connected) on for example: '/composition/layers/5/clips/1/connected' I added two osc message handlers to convert x integer either 1 to 0, or 3 to 1 repeatedly
please can you copy your script here. I am building a touch osc resolume interface and I would love to be able to see what clip is playing in resolume as I use auto pilot a lot.
Great job man, i want to try to use this method for dance performances but i red that the T1 cannot use audio input is it possible to bypass that without buy T2 or T3? thanks!
Hey, Not really T1 has restrictions on external controls and inputs. The only real solution I know would be to use Winamp on the same computer for audio playback
Cant find ANYWHERE how to get the output mapping guide from a novastar vx1000 processor feeding multiple led walls. 😢😢😢 Am i missing something? Thnax for the tutorial❤
Thanks for sharing this, is really amazing how you explained !!! I am going to make it this eveening for a 3D world I am creating :) and put some videos from Resolume on top

Hey brother, great job, I've been following you for the past few months. I wanted to ask you how you do the mapping in nova star for this type of design… Do you have a contact number, so you can advise me, I live in Brooklyn And thank you bro
Hii! I loved ur tutorial! Thank you so much!!! I have a problem that TouchOSC wont react to what i do in Resolume. Ive tried everything and nothing. Im pretty certain that my Outgoin port is ok and my Fader has the Recive option turned on. Somebody could help me?
Hey, Yep there are a few ways to send content out of Unreal to Resolume (check out the spout or NDI camera options) Ghosteam has an awesome project which generates real-time content in Unreal controlled from Arena youtube.com/@GhostTeam
