Pity it is so difficult to get support. The REMTRONIX page does not open. After long battle I found the prog-software. Now I have a battle to enable the AES digital encryption (for use on my commercial licensed repeater)
I did find I could receive APRS on this radio. I had to turn the squelch level to off. It seems that if there is any squelch level, it just couldn't get a good enough decode.
No there's bugger all info on this model. Made in Japan. Hidden menu enables you to select T or E model (aka extended tx) Crossband works well, even does analog to DMR & vice versa. Sends APRS fine, just doesn't receive APRS.
@@zl4de06 could you share your settings for transmitting aprs? I have mine setup to receive but if that doesn't work on this radio that explains why nothing was coming thru.
