"XP setting at 14." -- sorry, not a big gamer myself, although NCAA football is absolutely my favorite video game. But what is this statement telling me? What are XP, and what does "14" (or whatever number) even mean?
they aren't finished yet bro. still in beta....Beta sliders are a youtube membes perk. I honestly have them pretty much finished, was just trying to drop my dynasty sliders but then ran into this snag
Gameplay sliders have little to no effect as well. I turned QB Accuracy down to 5 for both player and AI, and the AI QBs are still completing 80% of their passes for 300-400 yards each game. And I tested using the same set number of defensive plays to assure similar outcomes.
my biggest problem with the game so far is how easy the recruiting is. theres no way a 1 star school should be able to get multiple 4 and 5 star recruits in year 1. 3 stars should even be rare unless they live in the shadow of your school. you can take any school and win championships with them after only a couple years which just ruins the feel
@@SimGamingNetwork maybe I'm cooked but I remember when Bordeaux did his Nebraska rebuild before the game was out they were 84's across the board but in the default roster they are lower. Maybe he was using a beta build roster
The Madden/CFB market is a sad one. Its consumers spend their own money and relentlessly labor on the product; all the while working as basically an intern for EA. It’s a pay to work for EA system that has spread like wildfire. Slider threads will be booming until the next iteration. This has been a mindless cycle for over a decade. EA has pushed me far away from my gaming hobby. I’m finally putting down the controllers and focusing on things that truly matter in life. This world is falling apart. It’s prophesied in the Word of God - this world will pass away, but His Word will remain for eternity. May we all truly focus on what is important. These companies do not value us - we tell ourselves lies with each release; only to find ourselves on YT venting or on forums searching for answers. Happy gaming, gents! Prioritize eternity!
My DE in UNLV won HEISMAN in year one (all American difficulty, wasn’t even trying to abuse him) and,.. he doesn’t even get drafted as he was a senior.
Idk why you’re saying that like it’s a problem with the game 1) you should probably play on higher difficulty or change the sliders if you’re getting that many sacks 2) Charlie Ward won the Heisman and played in the NBA not the NFL. There is a long history of Heisman winnners sucking in or not even making the NFL. The NFL doesn’t care what you did in college. They care about talent
EA had multiple years to get this right. Another thing that is game breaking is the fact you can’t edit recruits either. You have qb’s with random off the wall numbers, names and appearances are ridiculous. EA is just getting worse.
There seems to be a lot of things broken in this game. I pointed your channel out to Ryan Moody, as well as another content creator who pointed out how Coach Mode in this game is broken. How does a game that is 10 years in the future screw up things that were not a problem 10 years ago?
Every game will have it's issues. As long as we have the tools to over come them, it's fine The tools given to us to over come this issue simply doesn't work and it needs to fixed.
@@Ajc99130 so, there are plenty of lower rated players still... They just don't show when looking at positions under national I promise you are having this issue if you count up the total number of 80+ ovrs at any position compared to EA default roster
I’m currently testing them all at 0% and just focusing on the amount of 90 or higher players to speed up the process. I’m going to do it 3 times with new saves to randomly generate new prospects and then use an average to compare the results against the original rosters numbers.
@@cormacfagan2276 you can't do that. The 90 ovr aren't the issue... It's the 80s Unfortunately the process can't be sped up and you will appreciate the time I put into this lol
Thank you. It's not out yet....I have the beta sliders posted for members and was waiting to release until I dropped the dynasty XP sliders Now I'm not sure if the timeline lol
so i can actually help with this from a programming standpoint. Just going off the players overall is something you cant do when it comes to college because after 5 years maximum that player is out of the game. For example that lowest rated QB at 73 was a senior so he was at his ceiling however the player under him was a freshman, that was his floor. You have to account for the factor that a player that might be 80+ and a senior is not adjacent to a player that is a 80+ sophomore who by the time he's a senior might not even see the 90s. this is something i found out when Mills mentioned these players have caps and limitations to their numbers which is a good thing, great even. This is a mechanic used to separate the good from great and the new from old
@@remicxz well, the lowest rated player shown wasn't accurate. It can only show so many people at a time....when looking at positions on a team by team basis both before and after a 4 year SIM... there are still many lower rated 60 overalls I found this out after I recorded the video but the main information of the jump in 80+ ovr talent is correct so I left it
@@SimGamingNetwork ok that makes more sense. I would assume the median of 80 is where a player is good in college and roughly translates to a 60+ NFL player. Now i will say if over time the slider changes dont effect these numbers then yea the slider is probably broken. But it seems where that player is in their college career has more weight when overall rating. But ive never been a fan of overall ratings anyway. I would need to see the code to confirm though
I’m in year 3 with VA tech wondering why every qbs putting up 400 yards in me lmao good to know. The fundamental problem with franchise modes period is quantifying player performance. It’s easiest in baseball since it’s so stat driven, but it’s so arbitrary in football games that there’s little to no way to make it make sense. If the only thing that impacts ratings is the simplest stats: 10 sacks= xp upgrade, 5 touchdowns = xp goal. They need a PFF type evaluation system that incorporates things we KNOW the game tracks. Ever since coach glass showed us all of the stats they track under the hood, I’ve been appalled by how little of that data gets incorporated. WRs should have open rate and targets and yards per route, linemen should have run stops not just tfls and pressures and qb hits, rbs should have yards vs expected and shit like that. There’s so much meat being left on the bone in these franchise modes but this dynasty is atrocious out the gate.
I have a theory, could this be happening due to Coaches, abilities stacking, if a lot of coaches can develop talent, then they stack this could be why it’s happening, because players progress on their own and with coaches. Side note, my problem is more with injuries broken 😒
Just play the fu#@ing game! I bet your ass don't harass McDonald's when that burger you buy doesn't look like the advertisement on TV. So sick of the whiners regarding a game......... Here's a thought. Create a college football game yourself, perfect it, and bring it to market....
It’s not hard for EA to test this lmao. A billion dollar company we can expect them to give us a game that actually works since we paid them 70$ for it
@@carlbrenda6518 this ruins the immersion of dynasty mode. You want to complain to the folks bitching about gameplay, fine. I haven't. This however is what now crucial to a fun experience. People don't like taking a 1 star school rated 68 overall and them being an 80 + ovr team after 1 year. Stop getting on your knees to EA over things that actually matter. We aren't talking gameplay or anything like that. This is HUGE!!
Yeah definitely as a Dynasty player that's game breaking. Lol and I was disappointed because I play with a zoom camera I can't see the kick meter on FG's. Unless I toggle the camera wider 😂
The most liekly reason why the lowest overall for a wr or cb was like 77 is becuase its not actually showing every player at that position. If you go into like air forces roster you will see cbs or wrs lower than 77
You are 100% with. I realized this after I recorded this but left it in because the data about the number of 80+ ovr players after 4 years remains accurate
You say the lowest overall corner in the game is 77 but I have multiple CBs at <70ovr year one. I think that way of sorting for players is broken. Just look at any roster in the MAC and you will find corners under 70 overall
You are 100% with. I realized this after I recorded this but left it in because the data about the number of 80+ ovr players after 4 years remains accurate
@@djnaas76 there are still lower rated players.. You can't see them in the national view but you can see them on a team by team basis so I don't think it's the actual recruiting class. I think it's 100% the progression
