5:05 actually sphere shot is best against an undefended "NIMROOK" on the Al Bhed Psyches (1 on 1) early lvls. A lvled Nimrook will catch your Jecht shot (super goalie/grip gloves skills exist). Tidus/Nimrook (at lvl 10+) use Jecht shot for better odds or nap/wither shot him first. All teams are trash: except Psyches(best)/Glories(spd/pass)/Beast(balanced)/Fangs(slow)/Goers (best to worst)
4:24 Tidus, Wedge, Letty, Zalitz (has low pass, endurance, 59 speed <60> baseline), Ropp (best defender, Navara is close 2nd at lvl 35+), Jumal (best goalie at low lvl) In Luca (best starters in beginning) who can get reels (attack, status, auroch) & Jupiter sigil before leaving Luca/Mi'ihen Highroad area (if you grind sphere lvls early). Best team at lvl 99: Tidus, Larbeight, Linna, Ropp, Navara, Nimrook with (Nizarut/Wedge) --> 2nd/3rd best goalies Durren (missable) on the bench. Masters of speed: Brother/Nedus (lvl 70 - 99), Datto, Navara --> group up the opposition and pass to forwards/easy score. Best shooters: Tidus (special shot ignores 3x defender), Larbeight (1st), Vilucha (2nd best), Linna (3rd best, 59 speed/low endurance, but high atk/blk/best pass), Wakka (+ Datto/Keepa as defender & not goalie) --> 80+62+99 shoot at lvl 99 can shoot from anywhere and score, Keppa (solo, slowest non-Ronso, 99 shoot) Focus on getting key techniques in order (asap) and you will win. Pass to your team only in beginning to get skill slot advantage, prevent opponents from lvling, and lvl up your team's stats. Sign target players when available and prevent other teams from using "them" against you. Defensive skills are good but winners shoot (bait defenders away and pass to forwards to shoot on sleeping goalie/weakly defended goal). Lower stats with wither, remove players with nap, defend with (anti- (nap/wither/venom), elite defense/brawler, grip gloves/super goalie, tackle slip), use golden arm (increase ball movement), and use tech find to help get skills faster.
Nahh now I gotta farm neslug. 19 quick atk, wakka overdrive then more quick atks seems quickest. And lancet allows for replenishment with no save sphere
No. Nonononono. NO! These fucking butterflies are worse than snakes in a gddamn plane. The only thing worse than those gddamn things is Lulu's lightning. I never got those two sigils when I was playing it back in PS2. I can do the fkin chocobo oneblind folded 😅😅😅😂
I cant do it been trying since my last message here . My controller too old and it won't drive straight at all. Between this and wakka's ill go crazy first b4 i beat these challenges ffs.
Also for the mimics, I don't think the mimic has ever spawned if you use mug to retrieve the item (or just kill the lizard first and ignore the treasure ofc)
What’s amazing about my current playthrough is that I have never gotten to a point where I had all CWs but that I’ll be getting Wakka’s last. It was always easy to get Tidus’ n power it up. I never bothered actually grabbin Kahmari’s because I couldn’t but I finally can. I finally have Lulu’s after 24 years(990 bolts dodged in row!!). And this is my 2nd time being able to power Yuna’s up. I never truly understood the farming of the monster arena fiends til this run. I’m really hoping to have my a platinum trophy in the next 2 weeks. I’ll be uploading some clips hopefully soon of this run. I truly love this game
I really think I would die if i spent all the time you have spent trying to win junimo cart. I swear if it is needed for game perfection im paying that dude and skipping it.
For the record, the Demonolith enemies can be nerfed easily; simply use Silence Attack/Buster to remove their ability to counter with Pharaoh's Curse. Super helpful.
@@quantitativediseasing9988 True, but the abilities can be used indefinitely, whereas silence grenades are consumable. More effective, but must be farmed for.
@@embrezar Monster arena and Thorn; with 2 characters stealing on 4x speed, including restarting the fight, I can steal on average 10 grenades per minute. That's 10 minutes to farm 99 of them. How many silence grenades are you going to use in one battle against 2 Demonoliths? The answer is one! But using Silence Attack/Buster you're going to have to do it several times over for each Demonolith during each battle as those attacks are not AoE. Buster is one turn only; Attack is two turns but it can miss, especially when you consider that Demonolith has a 50% resistance to silence. Good to remember that, especially if you have a weapon with silencestrike because it'll miss 50% of the time. Grenades are 100% effective and never miss. With regard to farming silence grenades there is a much earlier opportunity though it depends on what you do with Kimahri. I find Kimahri's path next to useless so I always send him to Rikku's path. By the time I defeat Chocobo Eater I have the two Level 1 Key Spheres and Kimahri has Steal and Use. All through Mushroom Rock and the Djose Road you'll find Funguars; their common steal is a silence grenade. Have Tidus in the party with low HP and the Nulblaze Shield (given to you in Kilika after Lord Ochu battle) and you'll not have to worry about a game over from Pollen and Fire. If you only steal one or two silence grenades from each Funguar, by the time you've gone through both Mushroom Rock and Djose Road (there are even some in the early part of the Moonflow road) you'll have a bucketful of them, far more than you'll ever need for Demonoliths.
@@quantitativediseasing9988 Ah, but I have a limitation: you mentioned 4x speed, which means you're on Steam. I'm on PS5, so I don't have that luxury. I'm forced to play every aspect of the game at 1x speed, and no csr for me (cut-scene remover). But it's how I originally played back on vanilla when it first came out, so I guess points for that, even though fast forward would be nice.
Can you still get them all while using the airship 2:37 and how do you defeat valefor the dark aeon do you have to level up high and im at a spot where no fiends appear at all only in omega ruins 4:42
As long as you don't do the events at Macalania and are willing to walk all the way back to Besaid after beating Spherimorph you can get the Jecht Sphere without fighting Dark Valefor and all of the other spheres along the way as well. I can confirm it because I did this during my last playthrough
