That's a load of shit! These Rares & Chases need to STOP! They have the Vault now. There is no need to keep making these fuckin Rares & Chases. Just put them up on the Vault as regular releases or *MADE TO ORDER.* This fuckin company is actually supporting the scalpers. I want the scalpers gone but companies like this are keeping them in business. And if you call'em out on it, they'll act like they don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if they are selling a bunch on eBay to boost their profits. There is no other reason to make Rares & Chases anymore now that they have their Vault site. I couldn't even order this set because I was broke when it dropped. And I only want the red Interceptor. I shouldn't have to pay $100 & buy 5 ships just to get 1. What a fuckin stupid company! I've been collecting toys since 1977 and have never seen anything like this before except for Botcon. But that was a convention once a year. I've never been so pissed off over a toy line before. This is just ridiculous in every way possible. This line isn't for collectors or fans, it's for *SCALPERS!* The Rares & Chases are for scalpers & how many scalpers do you think ordered this set off the Vault?
@@brandonthetoyandgamecollector Most collectors already had the first falcon set so buying that exclusive Escape the Death Star set was out of the question and then this release is a rare chase which is ridiculous. Hopefully Jazwares release him with his T16 Skyhopper or at least make Farmboy Luke easily obtainable for collectors that have been there since the beginning and don’t want to shill out money for rereleases of vehicles we already own.
@@bostontoys yea. Unfortunately, because Walmart is the only one selling the light armor class I would imagine all of these in future releases to sell out. Let’s hope another retailer picks them up so future waves don’t sell out so quick!
Great info. My vault set arrived literally while I was watching this video! [Had to pause for awhile]. I only bought one set, so I'm still not sure on opening, especially if the landspeeder releases again somehow. The others are cool to have, but none that I need to open since I'm still hoping to get a true OT A-Wing.
@@drichardson007 the Vault Collections are timed releases. This LA class was live for roughly an hour, which was way longer than I had expected it to be up. Keep an eye out on Jazwares social channels they will typically start the count down a week prior to it launching.
Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of issues with the vault version of the speeder some of them are not being included in packaging some of them are not including the figures in the packaging for the land speeder and some even have missing engines. The quality control on jazzware's has been abysmal lately
I got 2 sets as well. I only opened one, but with all I'm hearing about QC issues from reviews, I'm going to have to open the sealed one to make sure I got all the ships I was supposed to get.
@@davidwatchesyoutube agreed! I know…I can only imagine those people that want to keep it sealed. Then open it yesterday later and find it’s not the correct items. Really a shame for those people.
Hopefully we'll see a Tatooine-centric Battle Pack with this Landspeeder, maybe with a different back deck with holders for C-3PO and R2-D2, maybe a squad of stormtroopers, or even 1st gen Tusken Raiders. There are a few other landspeeders from Tatooine that could flush out a Battle Pack as well.
Which genius decided to make Luke's landspeeder a chase? Don't they know just about everybody would buy it, they could have sold twenty or thirty times what they did sell. If the vault had 1,500 sets does this mean that only 3,500 were available in shops? This is a rhetorical question really, it's so annoying that Jazwares seems to have a strange business model, they make a great product, but then make it next to impossible to buy it, thanks for another great video!
From what I heard it was never intended to be a chase, but the product turned out so small they couldn’t justify making it a common and sell it at the price point in mind. Mostly they worried about overproduction like they did with ventress’ fighter because it didn’t sell as well as they thought it would and everyone complains about that being everywhere. They said they hope to put it in some sort of battle pack later on, though with what is debatable if that happens

Comparing the landspeeder - a fairly recognizable vehicle to anyone who’s been to the movies in the past 50 years - with ventress’ ship couldn’t be more apples to oranges. That said, bring on the Mos Eisley Vault exclusive spaceport set with a landspeeder, some unique background vehicles, and a whole mess of Jawas. Or maybe throw one in with a sandcrawler! 🤤
If you would like I have the hot wheels one I took some pictures of it with ibis wan( hes slightly too bid) c3p0 and r2d2 and a rebel pilot ( I 3d printed and painted) and various other figures around it but I will need an email to send to as I dont do social thingys😂😂😂😂
I got my 2 sets yesterday. One package was missing 1 Landspeeder and had 2 A-Wings. Many of my ships in both packages were mislabeled (had wrong vehicle inserts). Exampla, the Royal Interceptors are labeled Vulture Droids, as was the landspeeder, and my A-wings were also labeled either landspeeder or Vuture Droid. I submitted a ticket to Jazwares, let's see what they say. I'm more upset 1 landspeeder was missing, was going to open 1 box, display the other .
@@josephbailey3780 I have got to say. I am shocked at how terribly BAD the QC is on these sets. For a premium item the fact that they can’t get this right is a HUGE problem. I am with you. I would be extremely frustrated when I got this set only for that item and it didn’t even have it.
@@von_reginald4800 absolutely!!! It has to be opened. It is very cool and incredibly detailed for something so small. If I had only got 1 I still would have opened it. Again, just shocked at how small it is.

Opened mine too. I’d love a 2nd one as a backup, but it was too tempting not to open and I’m super glad I did. It’s really incredible. Tiny as all get out and impeccably detailed. One of my favorites for sure. I balanced a R2 and 3P0 on the back on either side of the center engine, like they are while traveling to Mon Eisley in A New Hope. It displays fantastically!
@@seanmc7128 yea. The vault has timed releases. Because this was so difficult to get at retail it sold out in an hour which was way longer than I had expected it to last.
@@seanmc7128 unfortunately, this should have rolled out in stores last fall. It never made it to retail in the US. The vault exclusive set it really the only way we have been able to get it. Unless found internationally. Hopefully, this will show up in discount stores in a few months.
@@dk6419 fingers crossed everything is good with the QC. One of my sets was pristine. The other one the boxes had a little damage. The interceptor had tape on the box for some reason.
Would be lovely to be able to go into a shop and purchase this item in the uk. Current release dates for all the star wars micro galaxy range in the uk are truly awful. 😢
Wings aside, I really do like this one a lot. It looks great. Something I think they did miss was the figures having ignited light sabers. We have a Series 1 Maul without already, and they included Qui Gon because of the duel they have. He only ignited one blade so it was definitely possible. It definitely would have been way too cool.
@@jessievizcaino1220 looks like their limits will be 2 per person. It has been for the last couple releases. If you are there on time seems to be that most we’re able to grab what they wanted. Let’s hope it stays the same for future releases!

@@alfaecotangoromeo retail at target is $15.29 but the barcode doesn’t work on the box. You will need to use the DPCI 087-16-8699 at checkout to be able to buy it. They are slowly rolling out in targets right now. Walmarts should be getting them in the next few weeks I would guess. This is a common vehicle so you should be able to get at any major retailers.
It’s too bad they couldn’t get the scale right. I would’ve loved this line. I bought a bunch of them when they first came out but since they don’t scale correctly together, I don’t see the point.
Great review as always. I've picked up several Micro Galaxy ships over the past few years and am just now setting them up in a display. I regret missing this one as the prices on eBay are crazy.
@@genreonlinenet the Phatom comes with Chopper and Ezra. This is a common release for series 6 Starfighter Classic. These should be popping up in stores in the next couple weeks.
