Hello and welcome to my channel. Im Recky, im 45 years old and I live in Sweden. I mostly do reactions, but you might find some gaming every now and then. I upload Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and again on Saturday. I do two live reaction streams a month and normally a gaming stream on Fridays (NOT every friday).
I strive to do honest reactions to videos/music I never seen or heard. I do enjoy history, so dont be surprised if that sort of thing should pop up. Dont forget that you can more or less suggest anything you want me to react to. Dont be shy! Do it!

Man, when you said, "Its still there", i actually got teary eyed. I was lucky enough to be part of this choir in 2004 and 2005, and the best part about this yearly performance is that it isn't the show all these kids are actually there for. Thats days later on a stage. This is a tradition, but it isn't required to participate in or even rehearsed. All the kids just come out of their rooms, tune up with each other, and sing our nation's anthem. Its beautiful.
I know this video is old and i am in the future. But the US Marine corps is the only branch of the military that can becsent anywhere without congressional approval.
My sister and her family lived close to New Orleans. When the evacuation order came they left and came to stay with me in central Louisiana. Their homes were destroyed, but they lived on to rebuild.
I'm American. Swedish, English and Bo Hunk, lol. I live in Gothenburg, Nebraska, our motto is Home of the Swedes. Our sister city is Gothenburg, Sweden. Tiny town, 3400. Today is 4th of July. You probably know what that is? Maybe not. Good to meet you.
We have a law in the United States of America it's called Stolen Valor anybody that impersonates a war veteran is immediately arrested and prosecuted❤❤
It's unbelievable how that State governor got away with delaying action until it was too late and thousands died. President Bush should have found a way to jail her.
Hurricane Andrew was in August 24, 1992. My daughters 21st birthday. We live in Broward County and did not get the full brunt of the hurricane. I am glad for us but sad for the people in Homestead, Kindell and all the places it hit full force. It was a really bad one.
I remember those fires it was so devastating. I live in Florida and we have wildfires. I even had to ride my bicycle through a part of one. It's never good
The whole point of NATO exercises to test tactics and strategies. Show up what works and what doesn’t, so that we can adapt or remove whatever proves ineffective. I think people forget these days that no matter how many smart systems we have, in war people will be killed. Our enemies have not sat idle developing their own smart systems. These exercises are insanely complicated to plan, and massively expensive to run, but I’d rather lose money testing our equipment and plans, than lose countless lives should a war break out because our militaries relied upon untested theories and assumptions. Dr. Felton is a great historian, but I feel he fails to point out the main reason the US clamped down on the outcome. Yes, a lot of the American military was embarrassed that the UK were successful, but mainly they hushed this up so as not to give the USSR a huge clue in what area to focus their own air developments. No boxer gets in the ring and says, “Oh yeah, by the way, buddy, I have a glass jaw.” There is no shame in “losing” if you learn from it. Have a great day.
The home we rented was just north of Homestead. It was totaled, and it was for sale for $20K after that. We had moved from there 17 months before Andrew hit. Our friends and neighbors from South Florida all lost their homes. Many sent their children to live with relatives in states north of there while they rebuilt their homes. Many more left Dade County. In 1994 several families who had relocated to Utah held a Miami party. One couple showed videos they had taken of the devastation. One woman said, "Go back. that was our house!" She and her husband and children had been living in South Korea because of his job when Andrew hit. They said they would forever sing the praises of State Farm Insurance. We had key lime cake as a dessert. Our family went back to visit in 1997, and much progress had been made.
As long as lessons were learned America should feel no shame. The important thing is you DID test your defenses and found opportunities for improvement. Let's not forget, these exercises were planned, the US knew those planes were on their way. In a real conflict there will be no warning and no time to prepare.
Man we've had an insane amount of tornados this year. Two weeks ago we got hit by 4 in a row. They were EF-0's but they blew a bunch of my windows out and we had tons of trees down. No warnings either so great job weather dudes on that one lol.
I didn't do Andrew, I'm in S.E. Texas, 15 miles north of Galveston. We had Tropical Storm Allison in 2001 flood everything around us but we found out we're on higher ground than even neighbors three doors down. We left for Rita in 2005, three weeks after Hurricane Katrina (that was an adventure getting out of Friendswood to Killeen Tx usually 5 hours away, to be with friends, took us 17 hours going backroads, took friends a mile from us 32 hours to get there on the interstates). We were here for Ike in 2008 and Harvey in 2017. My husband doesn't want to leave unless it's a strong 4 or a 5. He went through Alicia in 83 also. We're now watching Hurricane Beryl go through the Caribbean and go between a 4 and 5. The forecasts keep moving it a smidge north and I saw two different forecasts that have it crawling the Texas coast toward Louisiana. I'm not amused with that thought at all. I don't want to see another hurricane.
As Americans we love peace and freedom that is why we fight so hard to preserve them. And the times we have to go to war to preserve freedom and bring back peace, that's when the enemy needs to start praying to God because they're going to meet Him quickly when the US military gets rolling. Thank you for your words. As a US Marine veteran, I can say America would gladly welcome a Patriot like you to come join us here. E. pluribus unum.
