The word is from watching other videos on Ecuador currency, Do not bring or attempt to use $100 dollar bills, nobody will take them or be able to give change. Also, I hear that even the Ecuador banks will NOT change a $100 Bill for you if you take it in for smaller bills? Can you confirm this? Why would the banks not change a $100 Bill, that's what banks do?
when you first get to a bank atm, when will it show you the conversion rate you said to decline? At the beginning or end? Then I click Accept the second time?
Wow I mean WOW. How did you find a beautiful Apartment for an affordable price. How far are you from the beach. I would like to retire in Playa del Carmen. Beautiful beach and quiet place.
it’s outside of the central zone in real Ibiza about 2-3 miles from the beach. but also we rented it while Covid was still a thing so prices were down. I’m sure costs have prolly gone up since then
Does anyone else have a Wells Fargo account? I am trying to link dolorapp with my wells fargo account so I can transfer money to my mexican bak account and having problems doing this with wells fargo

I just spent a week there and stayed at an apartment plex at 30th/2nd. Paid 250 for the week and was fully furnished with a kitchen. I’d live there in a heartbeat but I own so much stuff!

you can exchange your money to pesos before going to Mexico but it’s not super necessary. and yes you can use your debit but a lot of smaller businesses are cash only
Get to the point sunshine ! Just come out with it …..the k¥Nts indiscriminately Rob tourists on a daily and nightly basis !! I was robbed walking home late one night by a truck full of police ! They grabbed my wallet and emptied it ! I put up a resistance and copped a club to the back of my legs ! It was the usual thing (always the same) trying to suggest I was carrying drugs !! The next time a short assed female cop along 5th avenue called me over (she was with another cop) so I shouted very loud”your NOT going to extort me !!” ….She immediately turned away in embarrassment!! It’s a shithole with crime and corruption on steroids !!!
All of you, that immigrate to Mexico; are making the living cost in our cities very expensive. By the way please don’t forget that you are not Expats, you are Migrants.
Using the word “cheap” is very derogatory and rude to the Mexican People and Culture. Who is it “cheap” for? There are more respectful words to use like: Affordable, less expensive, lower cost, comfortable etc…Since you are living in Mexico and not just a “tourist”, it is more respectful (which I am quite sure you would like to be respectful to people in another country) to use any other words besides “Cheap”. Thank You
