This guy is a real dummy . FOOD IS MEDICINE, we are dumping hundreds of pounds of food down our G.I. track and this guy concludes that food is not related to the problem? How?
Only listen to this guy if you want to stay sick !!! the root causes. This is why I switch to functional medicine because they actually know how to treat things like this.
Most foods bought from a supermarket are toxic now so it won’t really matter what you eat Also the so called meds that are suppose to help you Even most tap water is toxic in some way Try to gyo food & source water naturally (if possible) & distill it
Had an upper endoscopy, gastritis and a small amount of barrets oesophagas, no reason for it other than my own theory that I was drinking way too much coffee and energy drinks. Been about 5 weeks now, feel a lot better, weaning off ppis and taking probiotics and better diet. believe I now have SIFO, getting anti fungals today
I'm 50 and diagnosed at 18. This disease is different for everyone. What works for one person, might not work for everyone. Understand your own disease, foods that trigger, stress and other variables. Keep a journal of your journey through this disease. Don't take bad advice from "experts" on youtube who aren't doctors and GI experts. If you're looking for a "cure"..... You can stop. One person's journey, or long term remission does not constitute a "cure". Your disease is yours, and will be very different from everyone else's. Be realistic about your healing, journey through this. Get a good GI team and listen to them. This webinar was excellent, professionals and doctors who are experts. Keep up your spirits and get supportive people in your life.
I got my crohn's under control by keeping a food journal: This is what works for me 1) No Fiber 2) No Sugar 3) No carbs. I eat a lot of fatty foods - whole milk, whole yogurt, cheese, etc. I eat fatty meat products and eggs. You might want to check out the Carb Addiction Doctor; Dr. Robert Cywes. His advice has helped me a lot. Each person is different. Keep a food journal and find out what triggers your flares...I hope a food journal will work for you!

Having been recently diagnosed with UC and being in my mid 40’s also a mother of three and 2 who are still under 12yrs old. I am currently taking a 8 week prednisone taper and I am having all the negative symptoms of the medication and I still have 2 1/2 weeks left of the taper. I feel so bad for my family for having to deal with my ass right now. I’m a Bear! 🐻 😢 I am constipated but taking prune juice and going every 2-3 days but, I talked to my Doctor about it and he said that if it gets too bad to take myralax now I have diarrhea. TMI I can say that cutting off my sugar and lactic as well as gluten intake, I’ve noticed a lot of difference in being able to pass gas which helps a little. I am already diagnosed with Bipolar disorder among other mental health disorders that I am managing with therapy and medication but, I feel like I’m on Crazy Speed with the Predispose taper which is making hungry but, weak and fatigued. I am irritable. We’re currently struggling financially ( who isn’t) but my body and mind are racing I can’t sleep and my heart is racing. I know that it’s going to make me feel weak for a month or so after I am done taking the Prednisone too. I am on a high protein low fiber low carb diet. No lactose and, only lactose free cheese and stuff. No more soda even diet gives me gas. I have cut down on my caffeine intake I drink one cup a day now and I do crave more sometimes so I’ve started drinking decaf if I want more. I have also realized that Chamomile tea has an anti inflammatory effect on my intestines as well as my blood pressure so it has been very beneficial to me in the last month since my diagnosis. So hopefully 🤞🏼 once the taper is done I can go into remission and start feeling like my old self again and stop worrying about my family wanting to run away from me because I have been an emotional basket case. Best of luck to all who read this if you are suffering today or know someone who is, just keep loving and supporting them. I hope you have an easy journey with this. ❤
I have ibs-c with huge amounts of gases 😢 someone tells me what i should do my main complain is gases not D or C and l ruled out other diseases by my doctor
Lanzoprazole has given me relief for a month as my stomach was producing too much acid, due to increased stress. Yoga, regular exercise & avoiding too much gluten is good. Drink plenty of water & small meals. It does settle.

There’s a reason why the character in this video doesn’t have a visible face, it’s because they would be so fucking pissed off and trying to keep it together 3:14
OK, imagine you’re in my shoes right now, because I’m just figuring out I have this as in the past five months-after hearing the first two minutes of this, I’m already getting up. This sucks. This is a really shitty flip for my life at 22
I was born with short bowel syndrome all of my intestines were on the outside I don't have much left and later on I got internal bleeding as an oustanding complication and that meant more of my intestines were removed I have 32 surgical scars after all that I have had done. It's hard because this condition is so rare and just because they haven't heard of it they don't care or believe me even after I show them the scars.
I am 68, and I just experienced C. Diff. It is no fun. I am now slowly recovering and educating myself as much as I can about this awful, dreadful harmful bacteria. If I ever get it again, I may ask God to just go ahead a take me than to endure it again. I had severe diarrhea with abdominal pain that I would acquaint with having labor pains. Extreme dehydration where I made three separated visits to see my PCP clinic to be hooked-up to IV fluids before finally decided to go to the Hospital Emergency. I had no appetite. Was nausea all of the time. I was like a zombie. I believe this was brought on by previously prescribed antibiotic Amoxi and pantoprazole and caused a disruption between the good and bad gut bacteria. Then treated with certain antibiotics which ended up making me feel worst than better, such as ciprofloxacin & metronidazole. The Hospital Doctor told me to discontinue the antibiotics and prescribed a different antibiotic; Fidaxomicin which is suppose to 'kill' C. Diff. / Problem with this medication, most Pharmacies don't readily have it on hand because it is expensive (20 count tablet can cost on average $5,000.00) Most Pharmacies have to order. I encourage everyone to educate themselves, especially those over age 65 to understand the impact of C. Diff.
My Crohns is really getting me down at the moment. Ive felt ill for a few weeks with zero energy. I have two young kids so it sometimes makes me irritable and I don't have the energy to play with them. I also find it hard that you're never sure if you feel ill whether its linked to a flare or not. Ive had headaches for weeks and no idea if its Crohns or something else as Crohns and the medications can obviously lead to so many different symptoms
