I have rode many flat frames and by far oysi mediums and keltic v2s are by far the best in my opinion if you are looking for the closest to anti rocker fir grinding. I just tried the feather light 4s and i found them to tall for grinds. Just my thoughts. Good video btw!
@@stevechrysanthou1703 they are currently my top pick. When I did this review on the FLT4, I did not know the Fluid 5 middle wheel split is bigger on the large frame by a significant amount (almost 1cm). When I eventually tried the large Fluid 5, it resolved all wheel bite issues i had with the small frame. And they roll faster and smoother than the FLT4 for sure. The groove is tighter though on fluid 5, and the frame edge is not tapered so you may scrape a bit at first.
very nice review ! :) Maybe you should tell your weight and size with every review... that tells ALOT about the wear and tear of skating equipment. me as a 190cm 90kg+ fellar destroys any frame or soulplate in the matter of weeks ...
I tried putting the size 12 liner in the 10-11 SL shell and the material started bunching up under my feet. I then had to get size 11 liner which is way too narrow and I had to take out the insole and stretch the stitching on the liner to kind of make it work. This liner is very narrow so be careful if your feet are wide like mine.
Thanks, I switched to Them frames for anti and FLT4 for flat cause I wanted a shallower groove. Creates are awesome on any other skate, but the SLs sink the frames into the soul plate by like 5mm, so the deeper groove on the OGs feels too close to my foot and couldn’t get low as I’d like on groove tricks.
Great clips man! Curious how your experience has been going from sways to razors SL? Currently have sway team IV but have been eyeing SL for a while now. How do they fit compared to sways?
I got the 8/9 shell for both skates and the SL is roomier and wider, and the cuff is more flexy. If you don’t size the SL right, the boot can feel a bit sloppy so I recommend downsizing if you can.
Thank you, very informative. Info like this is invaluable when deciding what to buy. Stuff like the difference in tongues of this liner vs the v3 white/camo is really hard to find without actually buying them or trying them in-store, which not everyone has access to (me included). So props for comparing them to the others. Really helps narrow down what to go for.
