You know unlike with the Ruthlessness animatics with Poseidon doing a ton of stuff cause he enjoys messing with the little mortals, I totally just see Zeus sitting on a cloud high above Ody for the entire song. He doesn't need to show off, and he's not personally angry at Ody and the crew rather he's just dispensing justice. He's a Judge, he establishes his presence, makes his judgement then leaves.
I think Jorge said a long time ago that his idea for the song intro was to show how Zeus was so above Odysseus that his intro is him monologuing without acknowledging Odysseus and his crew up until a few verses into the song.
Can we mention how PERFECT it is that he is comparing this to a woman who can’t hide from him? Like even while bringing judgment down onto someone he can’t help but show tgat nasty side XD Am I wording this right? I’m trying. Anyway it’s just so cleaver and in the nose for Zeus
I’d argue that since Helios is a Titan, and as such used to be an enemy, it’d be going past his bounds to attack humans (Olympus’s subjects). So instead, he sent the god of justice and ruler of Olympus to make it extra official
