The video is very helpful.Thank you. Can you please make a video in which the butress part elevation is same and the top part design level changes with distance
Thank you for commenting! I would be happy to help you on more grading. Can you be more specific in grading a dam? The buttress is one elevation but main dam elevation changes with distance? Is this correct? You need a slope on top of dam?
Thanks for asking! You can use a volume surface to display the intersection between 2 surfaces. A quicker way is to use the ‘minimum distance between surfaces’ command. It works spot on ! Let me know if this works for you.
It's good that you have this channel and showing how to use autocad, I learned how to use autocad from RU-vid starting in 2010 and it helped me to advance my career in surveying and now I'm head of surveying at our civil construction company and having to do calcs, drafting and 3d models for gps machine control. Yeah the only thing I've struggled with is finding a good addon to add station alignments and stations and offsets into the point properties. I've searched for autocad civil 3d 2023 addon's and I can't find a good one. For certain county's. They want description , elevation, station and offset on the points and not in a table.
Thank you for watching! I too have learned from others with videos. You have me thinking about labeling points with data…hmmm. Maybe another video in the works? Keep tuned !
