Welcome to the channel for Sustainable Finger Lakes, based in Ithaca, NY. We share videos of our events and presentations related to our mission and programs. Sustainable Finger Lakes is a citizen-based organization working towards the long-term well-being of our communities by integrating social equity, economic vitality, ecological stewardship, and shared responsibility.
The real problem is large corporations that have u restrained ability to destroy the environment. Individual efforts won't stop climate change. The biggest issue is we must make the sustainable development goals a priority and a reality by 2030. Look it up. If I could attach images to this comment I would.
I think we all recognize the immensity and complexity of the changes needed; and we've been working to influence norms, behaviors, and policies along with our many partners in the movement for decades. But let's walk our talk, ok? The Climate Fund helps people, and there is never anything fruitless in that. Massive work on all levels is needed and underway, but many more people need to be more than armchair activists to get the work done.
