Iman is a woman. algeria is a very conservative country and promoting any idea about lgbtq could cost you a lot. if people were not ignorant and knew about the algerian sociology they wouldn't have been fooled by musk and jk rawling tweets. iman khelif is just a victim of a dispute between the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Boxing Association (IBA).
Hi. Yes, she is a woman and nothing suggests that she is part of the lgbtq community. I am happy she won and I wish her great success. She is undoubtedly a brave lady. Thank you very much for your comment 🙋🏻♀️
I do not thing the chromosome difference did gave her an advantage, in all the fights she had in the past, she lost 9 of them and to women fighters. The fact that she won Gold in Paris 2024 is due to her resilience and hard work.
@@massiea.7667 She was persistent indeed. I am glad she won. The question would just be if the women she lost to were all XX. If that was the case, you have a compelling argument. Thank you for your comment🙋🏻♀️.
Good work. But, chromosomes determine whether we are female or male. This is how God created us. There are the healthy men with chromosome xy, the healthy women with chromosome xx and those unfortunately affected by sexual development disorders affecting the genitalia mainly (these people need medical attention). If someone have chromosome y, he is a male.
You know why this issue exists? Because we opened the door for this problem to occur in the first place. When we opened the box of pandora, we should have been ready embrace the baggage that comes with it. Decades ago, this kind of issue wouldn't have been a big problem.
I agree wholeheartedly with the gist of what you are saying here. Once again it shows what a generous and compassionate spirit you possess. Regarding Khelif specifically, I believe that we don't exactly know what is her specific gender related abnormality. Nor should we; a person who applies for sporting events should just be publicly revealed as eligible or ineligible. Their specific medical status should be their own private affair. But one thing to keep in mind is that the Olympics are full of people with singular genetic traits. Of course they train extremely hard but they also have something special in their genes that puts them above the rest of humanity in their field of competition. As normal people, we will never be able to leap with the grace and power of Simone Biles or run as quickly as Gabrielle Thomas. For example, take the Olympic basketball player Victor Wembanyama who towers above his own teammates at 7'4" tall. That's quite atypical! But should he be disqualified because he's not in a normal height range? Or isn't the Olympics a celebration of the diversity of human physical form at its genetic limits? So regardless of what her particular unique makeup is, Imane Khelif isn't unique at the Olympics. She fits right in! Thanks again for your kind insights, and also for thinking of your English-proficient followers. ❤
@@pataplan It is a very complex issue. I guess many are thinking that she is a man in the body of a woman and that is too complicated because of the whole issue of gender. It is funny in the sense that if she tried to compete with men, she would not be eligible either. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, James. It is always good to learn from others and you brought out the singular genetic traits of many players at the Olympics. I know they take gender very seriously. It will be interesting to see how this continues to unfold. I deeply appreciate your input. You are highly compassionate and quite a gent. Thank you always for your wonderful support🙋🏻♀️😊
Mercedes Sosa! Claudia, your voice suits her music so well, and I love your guitar technique. Hope you’re enjoying the warmer clime - I’m just heartbroken that now that I’m finally working in Queens, you are no longer here. :)
Thank you so much, James. Yes, the weather here has been wonderful, but I am really happy that you were transferred to Queens. That is a very nice building. I really liked it there. If I go to NY, I will go visit you and the whole crew. :)
