@CaramelColored if the water cools down a bit what would you call it then, a Re-thermalizer ?? Lol. Seriously, I worked on a kitchen serving line warmer that was only a basin of water with an electric heater, manufacturer called it a re-thermalizer. Lol fancy name for a hot water heater.

@Matts_Crafty time to enroll in a vo tech program. Hosing down a condenser coil will be quite far along in your studies....don't expect to "learn" that right away.... As always, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Probably a good idea for you to stay away from the electrical side of things, as well. The tech in this video was pokin and proddin in places that could easily contain lethal (meaning they can kill you) voltages.
@@Matts_Crafty in az our air handlers are usually side by side when in the attic & only stacked when in a closet & even then, the coil is usually on the bottom

The power strip / surge protector is on all the time. The diffuser is plugged into the surge protector. - the relay is wired into one side of the diffuser power supply - the low voltage side of the relay is powered by the control board using Y and common or G and common or w and common which ever you prefer. - when the relay is energized on the low voltage side it completes the circuit and turns on the diffuser. Hope this helps

Was seeing how you did because I wanted to take it with me when I move places later and more or less keep the diffuser in tact and easier to reinstalled at the next location. Like the concept of saving the liquid and messing with that timer and settings all the time is annoying for sure
I upgraded to a bigger marine battery there is a slot for it under the front deck plates. You can use it for Just trolling or both and just use the factory battery for starting.
Nice of your dog to come out and defend you, although I think he might have got ripped to bits by the other dog. Aggressive dogs like the neighbours need to be on a leash if they won't obey on command. Even on a leash , dogs can attack. I got bitten just the other day by a dog that didn't seem aggressive that was on a leash as I was walking away after talking to someone. There was no aggression between myself and the owner , so no reason for the dog to attack.
@@roadmonitoroz I agree wouldn’t have been pretty. Love my neighbor the dog just wasn’t friendly and got loose by accident. I got nipped no harm no foul just glad it was me and not someone else or a kid. Thanks for watching.
I am a contractor out here in Arizona and I condemned a 13 Seer American Standard on a Carrier air handler LOL and I went in with a 15 seer AC Pro heat pump 4 ton split when I got done The indoor temperature was 89°. the outdoor temperature at that time of day was approximately 110° I weighed in the charge then dropped it By the time I was done picking up everything and getting ready to leave was approximately 45 minutes it all had already dropped down to 85° plus to I like how the reversing valve does not energizing cooling it energizes and heating so that's a big plus For the price of that equipment you can't beat the efficiency and the value that it brings I will install AC Pro any day before I install a badman

Glad to see an HVAC guy hook up three wires! I work for various home warranty companies. The HVAC people they use will not touch any wiring; even thermostat wires! You know they know how to wire, at least, their fixtures! I'm called out many times bc they say it's an "electrical" issue, when it's a mechanical one.
It's best to braise the line set ends with silver based solder. Use of mapp gas won't produce a high enough heat to melt solder with enough silver to prevent escape of refrigerant. Soft solders that melt with mapp gas are porous enough for melecules of refrigerant to escape over time. Also instead of using all those wide angle elbows a gentle curve in the line set give better flow and less chance of leakage.
Braise? You mean Braze correct? According to Harris Products Group, Stay Brite 8 lead-free solder can produce stronger components than brazed components. Brazing can weaken base metals through annealment from high heat, but Stay Brite 8's low temperature characteristics can help reduce base metal distortion and oxidation. Stay Brite 8 is often used as an alternative to brazing for residential HVAC tube connections. Also have you ever you ever seen the curves on an Evap coil? Thanks for watching..

Worst customer service, show some empathy my good man. Also you can always weigh the tank before service and after the service. It becomes inefficient especially if you run commercial calls and have to climb multiple stories😊😊

Depends on how severley they are clogged. Sometimes you must dissassemble the entire unit, sometimes just needs a good cleaning from the inside out or hose down. Sometimes they are just too far gone to clean...Case by case basis sir.
@@jonhvac I have those as well these quick connects are a great idea but need more work the o rings pop out easy I was commissioning a unit damn things blew sounded like a tractor scared the shit outta me…I’m sending them back…
If you don’t know how it works I don’t suggest doing it not being a smart ass. Just saying you can mess up your system I could make one but don’t want be that guy that messes up your system. It’s a basic 24v relay you tie into the low voltage circuit that used to break the 115 circuit of the diffuser.

People don’t realize how expensive refrigerant can be. They need to know the price upfront, and then the amount that was put in. It’s not like adding a few gallons of gas to the car!
@@leeb.7188 100% 1st off if your adding gas then you have a problem period…I just show them the scale to make them comfortable unless I’m commissioning a new unit that’s in the price anyway. Some guys mark their jugs as they go and weigh it after the charge is complete, some guys just say they added whatever comes to mind. But we have refrigerant scales for a reason…
Those are ACPro it a specific company out of southern cali up through to Nevada. Awesome units, They partnered up with Lennox. All units are now seer 2 variable speed. State mandate… Thanks for watching…
Thats cap you think even if he showed them the scale it would make a difference. You think every hvac tech is gonna go through the hassle of explaining how much the gross tank weight is then how much he put in the system using the scale hilarious. Homeowner just wants to get their house cooled as soon as possible.
@@Matts_Crafty so what would you charge for 5 pounds of r410a because its not outrageous they charge 90 to 120 per pound now days for r410a and its getting completely phased out by next year. Better stock up on tanks before they skyrocket in price.
Me too, takes longer prep time and walking around for no reason. Some peeps wired different haha. But it helps brainstorming before with visual simulation.
