you will need to go back to the China rom. you can use the rsa tool but replace the global rom with the China rom in the folder windows. it's not a standard rom it's a special type that works with rsa allthough they can be found on github and XDA. so you remember what version you where on
Thanking you for your contribution in creating that EFI for the HP 400 G4 SFF, you have overlooked several things in any case. The mapping of the USB ports is poorly done, in the kext that you created there are several ports that appear as Internal, (in fact there are) but not that many. The Internal USB port on the motherboard where a Fenvi HB-1200 card is connected is not mapped, I was not able to map that port either (it should appear as Internal 255) I don't know if the internal SD RDR port should be activated from the same BIOS ( something I didn't find) and in my case it is necessary to activate it to power the Fenvi's Bluetooth. Do you know how to activate that port that goes inside the motherboard?
it looks like this is the version before 774 I think it's the Sam version I had. have you just bought it or have you ever updated it. I will ask others in the comments but yes 16.0.336 is older that 774 check the links Guide aswell
I have a desktop PC with Windows 11 core i7 Please explain How tonstall macOS Seqouia on,12th, generation systems | OpenCore Please, if possible, thank you
@@ahmedosman9952 12 gen is a but harder because it has no official support from apple. ape never used 12th gen as far as I'm aware. I will make an update to this video about the difference in gens
What a perfect timing of your video.I just bought the same Lenovo M720Q tiny two days ago, and was having trouble getting the perfect EFI. Thank you so much, it works perfectly with this very system. The one I downloaded previously worked with DP port only, but this one works in HDMI as well. Subscribed.
Hello. I can not get this to work. I have followed the steps exactly and it has failed 4 times. I am on CN 795 and have not unlocked the bootloader. Every time I try in the end it says device was not recognized. USB debugging and Wireless debugging is turned on. Install Unknown apps is turned on for everything. I am plugging a USB 3.0 into my computer. I am using the left port. I am using Software Fix 7.0.3. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.
ahh yes sorry it is an i5-7500 I have two of these units one is an I5-6500 and the other is an i5-700 I've just got muddled up in the title but the unit is an i5-700 I will change the title.
There's also quite a fatal bug in 16.0.324 relating to DPI. If you increase the DPI (screen size) by +1 and restart, the tablet gets stuck in a bootloop (the shell/lock screen never loads, and the tablet then restarts after a period of time) and requires a factory reset (resulting in a loss of all data) to recover. Additionally, if the DPI is +1 and you access the extended control centre options (the '>' in the brightness toggle for instance) it crashes the shell and puts you into the bootloop. Basically, avoid increasing the DPI. The CN ZUI 16 (16.0.336) ROM does not have the bug. CN ZUI 16 is also massively improved in regards to its language support.
The ribbon that goes along the stretching part is damaged. I had and iPega telescopic controller which behaved similarly; the right side would disconnect whenever I stretched it. I had to find the sweetspot to keep it working properly but eventually it broke completely. Now I have a BSP D8 Pro, I'm loving it although I know it will eventually suffer the same fate. It's and easy fix, the hard part is getting the right ribbon.
Thanks for the update yes they are just not built very well. I left a link to my video on amazon so hopefully the company see it and makes some changes.
You can change the ribbon, happened the same in mine , i had to ordered it from ali, its a 10Pin 0.5 mm pitch, 400 mm lenght. If you find a 350mm lenght its better but the 300 mm its too short, and thats why it disconnects, use capton tape and rout the ribbon in a way the mecanism avoid crushing the ribbon. Also the D8 pro is better, better quality and improved ergonomics. You can also conect both the D8 and D8pro with a usb c to usb c cable to the tablet and you have 0 latency and conects always as a an xbox. Good videos. I have my Y700 in chinese 16.0.336 version. I hope you can make a video tutorial for those who are already in a higher version. I dont mind the chinese UI but its difficult to follow a guide without any experience.
Forgot to say that the tablet auto updated itself, so when i was about to change to the global version, one day the tablet just had the newest firmware, you should tell your audience to dont forget to disable the auto update firmware. Too late for me.😢
Global 100 percent but I would double check the china version before you update. I've made a few videos about it. But I would never go back and now it even updates from the lenovo servers only if you use the Rsa method without unlocking the bootloader or rooting which is possible using the method setout in the other videos
One of the few ways is to fully unlock the bootloader, and flash it through fast boot like you would flash a GSI ROM. But it will break the update stream, so it means you will have to update through a zip file and flash it. From what I have found out about it. Check XDA post, I found they have a lot of great information about the process.
Your CN version is too high. The CN 761 update (and higher) added a region lock which is saved in a hidden system partition and cannot be removed. If you try the ROW (global) ROM the device will fail to boot. The best you can do is get the NEC ROM which is the Japanese rebrand of the device, if you want to get rid of the Chinese stuff.
@MyAmazingUsername ah damn, guess I'm stuck on CN rom then for the foreseeable, I have no issues with it, it runs smooth, just that I have to manually update ZUI everytime, which is a pain in the butt lol
I just need to check this first. Have you ever unlocked your bootloader. Or did you use the rsa method without unlocking. The same way I did in my video
I will try find a link to where I got the zip or I will upload it to github you download it tap times on the zui logo then click the three dots and chose select update package
Still dont understand why you removed your video on RSA for Lenovo Y700. It ended uo being easy enough, but that video was ther ONLY one like it and you took it down?
Well, It's not removed, just hidden. I mean, it was easy to understand, but I guess people with no knowledge of android or any background research about the 240 - 77 update left comments on it about bricking their tablets. I did lots of research to make sure that it was easy and told people they must do research as well.
I had no problem doing it. I had an OTA update come through yesterday to update from 15.0.240 to 15 0.358 stable but I'm hesitant to do it. Everything works great. I just wish you didn't get forced to go into PC mode when a BT mouse is connected. I'm assuming a wired mouse would do the same thing
