Carl Palmer Legacy is a red-hot power trio that features Palmer on drums and percussion; guitarist Paul Bielatowicz and bassist Simon Fitzpatrick. Purely guitar driven, this band put a new face on such tracks as "Toccata", "Hoedown" and Fanfare For The Common Man" and performed them with dizzying complexity and an energy perhaps not heard since the earliest days of Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
A friend of my ne came back from Vietnam with the 1st ELP album. I saw the outdoor Cal Jam and the indoor forum Brain Salad Surgery tour shows They were so big The last time I saw Carl Palmer was the first Asia tour in 1980 I bought the Cd with Cozy on drums but it wasn’t the same without Palmer. So sad the Kieth shit himself. RIP

I am a classically trained keyboard musician. I, of course, a fan, and have been so since I first heard them and bought every single LP! What an amazing time of life that was. A pioneer in now historical progressive rock, three absolutely dedicated musicians always performing to their max… you can’t “hide” when you’re a trio and the only ones on the stage. I saw you in Cardiff, capital theatre in 71ish. You were a beast then and still are. ELP were the epitome of prog rock pushing boundaries. Long may you play on Carl. When Buddy and Louie died we lost some magic in the drum world. Thankfully we've still got you.
Bought this Triple LP for a bargain price Of £4.99 on holiday in Bournemouth upon its release in August 1974. What an album ! Incredible playing from all 3 members of the band who, at the time, were one of the best and biggest live acts worldwide. Rest in Peace Keith and Greg.
The brain salad show was assume The keyboard swung out and at the first Jam show in Ontario speedway he sat on a spinning piano. It’s so sad Kieth shot himself
Been ElP fan for many years & I enjoyed this video very much. So sad the Keith & Greg are no longer with us but blimey did they know how to make music.😢
