Brooooo. I finally finished my vid! I want to post it and share it with you. But don’t make fun of me lol! I’m still learning heel toe!🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥
@thyresias194 no there was very minimal in the terms of instructions. About 3 image on a a4 page.. If you email there support tho he will be able to forward some more "customers builds images" or answer most questions. I guess because everys rigs are different thats why not a step by step is included, You can diy measure your own rig an compare placement of parts to videos such as this to "guesstimate" where your TL components will be. The frame extrusion itself was just about as pricey as the actual TL ADDON.
I built this rig myself. Its definitely not cheap Its just under 20k roughly. First setup was a g920 an xbox. then a csw2.5 2070 super pc an 49 g9 now this. Might make a slideshow vid with some of my past setups to now.
Hi @dizzythakidd7350 its not a motion seat,.... This is a Eracing Lab Rsmega + Traction Loss Dof Actuators, mounted to my frame so my Whole rig + Triple screens move with me not just the seat. Check out my Drift Video you will see what i mean. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q2THA506wjg.htmlsi=31JsDoCM50D3rQtx
@Leylaashley not sure what you mean "like that" ? I never play 3rd person view in any game unless its to show the outside of the truck/car. Correct FOV makes the gameplay more fun i think.
@Leylaashley the joystick on the FS side panel makes it easy to control camera with one hand while driving. An switching between views inside an outside. Pretty much the only reason i have that as a button box for the joystick
@@davewah20bI’ve seen some people replace the feet with quality castor wheels that make it almost silent I’m not sure how easy that would be to do though
@@Simlife101 ive thought about doing this kinda like the DOF3 REALITY STYLE. Another thing i had issues with was the roller bearings grinding into the linear slide rod on the Traction Loss
@dennyalfro9832 thank you, added a small led strip above the pedals hopefully you could see the pedals better, have better lighting coming stay tuned. 🤙
Hi Jayden, Please see video below how i switch between 18spd shifter an racing shifter knobs , the truck shifter i have a bolt welded to a nut same thread pattern as the fanatec shifter, i use a second nut as a lockingnut when using the truck shifter, shifter was bought of ebay and i connected to a joystick usb controller. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ha_xJlCfD3Q.htmlsi=LZc-yKglo1mi-a1V Monitors - 3x samsung g7 240hz Pc Specs- are 5900x 3080ti 2tb ssd 2tb hdd b560 Rig- Trak racer TR80 With extra added extrusion DIY Motion - E-racinglab rs mega + with traction loss. Pretty good video. If I may I'd like to make a couple recommendations. Continue the video until you complete parking, and feel free to show off some driving skills. Even if it's hard and takes several attempts newer drivers can learn by watching and it makes for a more complete viewing experience. Take a look at the graphic settings to reduce the glare/washout of the roads and general textures they are a little too bright see your screens well. The sound was pretty good overall, perhaps tweak the in game sounds to make the engine and engine break sounds a little more pronounced. POV videos normally have nice little ASMR element in them. But most importantly stop breaking my immersion with the shifter on the LEFT! ( Just kidding ) Subbed, and thumbs up, and am looking forward to the next video!
Hi mate, sorry for the late reply have just sat at the pc now to check for you. My screen resolution is set to 7790x1440, 239.96hz in CM My FOV is set to 40° , I also use my DSD BUTTON BOX toggle switches to be able to adjust the FOV on the fly, by having the toggle switches binded to "on board camera" (small tweaks module) I use the next row of red buttons to control the Mirrors for each car on the fly. (These binding settings can be found in Settings/Controls/Patch. My screen to eye distance is 780mm Hope this helps, thanks for the comment.
@@davewah20b oh bro that will be dope actually I was hoping you could make it using this same cam angle you used here on this vid. The angle is perfect!
@dennyalfro9832 appreciate the feedback 🤙 Was thinking would a light showing my pedals in this cam angle be better , or a dedicated pedal cam with a PIP next thing would be where to place that PIP in this view. Any thoughts?
@@davewah20b bro honestly Mary just a light to illuminate the pedals would work well with this same cam angle! I have to say your set up is amazing! I’m also practicing heel toe downshifting a lot and when I’m ready to post my driving vid, I’m going to share it with you bro, if you don’t mind!💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Depending what rig you have. But the e-racing lab kit is easy to add to a profile rig. Im using a Tr80. id say 120 or 160 for extra strength i added extra extrusion to mine to stop flex. The Traction loss frame you have to make and DIY completely yourself tho wasnt cheap either and if TL isnt that important to you then id say the rsmega + is more then enough i have this dialed right down for the triples not to break off but they have lot of power.
@cargeek I couldn't imagine not having the monitors attached, especially with traction loss movement. Ive not had any issues with the monitors mounted they are very solid.
@cargeek0 i dont have a video of that specifically, but will do my best to explain. Its a Trak racer free standing Triple screen mount. I took the horizontal foot supports off. Moved the 2 vertical uprights to suit the TR80 frame width, and added necessary 90° brackets to secure to the rig. I also added 4 extra 40x40 supports as seen in this video at 0:10 - 0:13s. 2x Mounted from the (side of TR80) chassis to the Triple monitor support arms left and right (main horizontal) to add support to the outter screens. 2x shorter mounted supports from the (top side) of The TR80 chassis basically either side of my pedals, which joins to the Vertical uprights of the Triple monitor stand. To add support 3/4 of the way up.
