hello im not sure you will see this comment considering the video was made quite awhile ago but if you do then my question is how long until the polish fades / breaks away and you have to repaint the zipper ?
Thank you so much! This has been a complete game changer for my approach to thrifting. I just painted some brass on a beautiful pair of shoes a nice silver colour. I used Sally Hansen "Guilty Party"
Your video was the most helpful & very well detailed & explained. I just bought the Hairmax 41 from QVC & got a decent discount (excited to see the results) getting ready to buy the haircare products. You are a very beautiful woman & love your hairstyle. Good luck on your continued hair journey.
I found this so helpful. I have mistyped myself as a soft natural and came out as a soft classic. Where the inspo for SN is heavily leaning into boho styles, most style inspo for SC is very much based on Grace Kelly. It's lovely to see more contemporary examples. I have never 'seen' my classic lines, esp. after gaining a little weight but this has been very insightful. Thank you.
Found you by chance and thoroughly enjoyed the video. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos. I am 75 and l have loved and worn classic minimalism all my adult life. It is so rewarding to find your own personal style. I still get wonderful compliments relating to how my style is totally in tune with my personality. Thank you
I just watched your video...I am totally minimal classic! Like you said, I like occasional twists, or pops of color. My hair is a messy natural style, but it is a blunt cut with face framing layers. Thanks so much for this!
Hair color change (going silver) has been another major change in my life. Bold colors can sometimes feel overwhelming on me. Black feels heavier on me now, but a charcoal grey feels better.
I do cut them off but I save the ones from the shoulders which are usually ribbon. My granddaughter was amazed at the colorful ribbons that I sometimes put in her hair after she spent the night unexpectedly. She wondered how I found such pretty colors.😊. Other than that, I have no use for them and they definitely don’t belong on my tops after purchase.,
Agreed. I think you would get a higher subscriber base if your shorts are informative. Rather than try to get clicks on your channel. I have more reason to follow for more you're actually posting the info.
`Hello. This was a great video and just what I need. I have been struggling to find clothing in my color palette and size- I am midsize petite. Do you have any thoughts that you can share on this? Thank you.
Hi Nancy! Thanks for the question. Seasonal versions colors do trend, just like everything else, but you can always find a variety of colors for every seasonal color palette in the stores. They just aren't always the easiest ones to find if your palette isn't the current trend. But once you know your season and learn about your colors, you'll start to easily recognize them and find what you are looking for. Winter colors were everywhere in the early 2010s and then fell out of favor, but I've always been able to find clothes in my palette. Shopping for petite clothes can be challenging, but more and more retailers are offering more inclusive sizes. I would google petite (sweaters, pants, etc.) and see if some unfamiliar brands pop up for you. I've found a lot of new favorite brands with searches like that. With more stores to shop from, you're more likely to find a wider range of colors. I hope this helps.
I had a color analysis done a couple years ago and I was told I was a spring summer but I knew I wasn’t spring summer because quite honestly I didnt feel good in the color palette and always feel good in and gravitate toward. Listening to you I realized I’m more a winter! I love the colors and I feel good in them and receive compliments! So I appreciated this video because I finally figured out I’m a winter!!!
I tried one for a few weeks and found I kept wanting things that weren't in my capsule. I felt so restricted and it didn't feel good. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I just didn't select the right pieces.
I am a redhead as well , my hair was true red as a kid , then it became winered , then burgundy, then soft valck with tings of violet. Now it is soft black and it has has strawberry blond and silver streaks , I dye it with Henna + hibiscus tea +beatroot . I have olive skin and I am a true cool. I thought I am cool summer, but I can wear both vibrant and muted colours, I can were soft black , muted black and grays. I am cool flow season. The thing is the colour analysis saying you can't be redhead and be a redhead is flaw , redhead have different tints, shades , tones + true red + mahogany+ burgundy+ soft black (it is black with violet undertone and violet is red and blue) . All seasons can have redheads, as long as we have different versions of reds in all 4 colour ballete and in the pallettes of the resst of 12 or 16 pallettes no matter which you believe is correct, for me it is 16, I am a true cool , temp is the most important factor in my outfit. I can wear different contrast and value levels. My mom is warm automn and she has her version of black hair, and I know 3 winter seasonal colour redheads. So natural hair colour is not that factor . Ethnicity other than European+ all redheads are the major flaw in seasonal colour analysis. Blue is cool, yellow is warm , red and green are neutrals . You add orange to red to make it warmer , and blue to make it cooler , too much blue and you are in the violet and purple zone , most of which are cool . That is why any season or subseason can be redhead, blond or brunette . That is how other ethnicities and red redhead can be all seasons not just warm for redheads and winter and autumn for asian and people of colour. This myth needs to be stopped forever. I love rusty effect of colour, but I choose the cooler version of the rusty colour combination and make it my own using cooler pallette. Once you understand it , you can tweak it and bend the rules with grace.
It's refreshing to hear your perspective on hair color and season. I couldn't agree more, especially as a naturally strawberry blonde Winter. My best colors are sapphire, emerald, raspberry, optic white, and of course black. For years other online systems had me believing I was a Spring or Summer just because my hair is light, but it made me look exhausted and invisible. Your approach will help a lot lf people!
Hi, I saw your RU-vid channel video and understood that Very nice video. I saw your channel videos are not more watched and subscribers. Need Video SEO and optimization to reach your target audience.
So glad to see you again & good thoughts for you & your health & wholeness! I enjoyed this as always and to add my 2 cents to the comment about summer: It's also my least favorite clothing season. Not only the inability to wear much or wear layers but the actual clothes available which often seem cheap looking or trendy. It seems difficult to find good colors, style & quality for summer wear. I keep thinking I just don't know where to shop for summer clothes that I would like.
so good to see you, I hope its not too serious of an issue with your helath but I wish you the best. Prioritzing yourself is crucial. Love minimal chic, thanks
