This is still a young and relatively small elephant. Depending on the species, grown elephants can weigh between 4500 and 6000kg and pull loads of almost 20 tons. In some countries they use elephants to pull heavy loads like lumber. One elephant can pull up to 5 big wooden logs at once.

Mostly because a tug of war isnt a good representation of Human strength. Several people pulling at once cannot effectively use full force, so a single, strong animal ends up outpulling more people than they actually exceed in strength.
@@Polygonfella1662 Of course. Also, i actually have several strength tests of Elephants (and many other animals)....mostly because i study animal and Human strength, to see where the average Human stands, in terms of strength.

I'm Swiss and Switzerland has the most respectful drivers, cause when you have an accident you need to pay a LOOOOT of money. 😂 But it's still better than India.
A tug of war isnt a good representation of Human strength, because more than one person pulling on the same rope cannot effectively use full power, and the more people, the less you are able to pull individually. So, even if an Elephant outpulls 50 men in a tug of war, that doesnt mean its stronger than 50 men.
Yeah because doing some painfully forced behavior is fun. You do realize they rob the calf from its mother, and whip and stab the baby, breaking its spirit just to make it do some ridiculous trick, exploiting a defenseless baby for the entertainment of ignorant or downright cruel people.
@@Lord_of_Proboscidea Some places have done those things, but its stupid of you to assume that other places and/or all of them abuse the animals. Plenty of animal keepers and trainers use great, gentle methods to get the animals to work or perform. Dont assume they are mistreated. Either you know, or dont. Dont pretent to, though. Many places treat their animals with respect and kindness.
