Always wondered how gravel beds were cleaned up. My house came with two, and both look tired, with the rock basically embedded in the dirt. It just seemed like adding more rock would push it down further. BTW, that music is waaaaaaaaaay too loud in the mix.
Great job on the stone! I agree with you on removing those bushes. The Ac units need to breath a little. Did you do anything with that Patio with the Grass growing out of the cracks? I wouldnt have slept that night if I left it all like that! Also, Love the propane tank on the Handtruck setup. Pretty cool!
So that patio had a lot of that renters belongings and kids toys on it at the time I was spraying. I mentioned to them if they moved it before we came and sprayed I would hit it for them if they wanted me to. They actually ended up cleaning up their whole patio area themselves after we finished the gravel project so it all looks rather nice now! That tank is not fun to tote around by hand while trying to use the torch. Had an extra dolly sitting around, so I just made it into the permenant setup for the weed burner!
@@sawyerslawncareservice Thats Cool! You guys did such a great job on the gravel i am glad to hear they cleaned off the patio! You have a Great channel. I watch all your posts! I am surprised you dont have more Subs!
We appreciate it! We are pretty happy with how many subs we have since we started posting regularly last Fall with around only 8 subs, but we are always looking to grow the channel more! 🙂
Good job men. I do work like this too, but on a smaller scale. It's best to get decent masks and by that I mean decent ones! You wouldn't believe how many mold spores there are in old leaves. The whirling causes some spores to fly through the air. There are very good masks that allow you to breathe freely. You'll notice it in the evening when your nose is clear! Many greetings from Germany
3 zero turn stand ups with leaf plows would cut the time tremendously. The Ventrec is an amazing machine, but the zeroturns are much quicker . My Jerco plows appear to clean the grass better with each pass. It's nice that this is all downhill.
Pretty much, it was a difficult place for them to get their riding mower over the walkway and mow it effectively so they wanted it turned into a landscape bed!
It's been great! We use it for hours every week on our landscape projects. I would like to get a mower setup for it eventually as well so we can get full week use out of it all week.
Probably should have, Didn't think about it at the time. It did get thrown into the other fenced in area. The cable I threw back into the woods as it was still attached to something in there and I didn't have a tool with me to cut it.
The ground there is super spongy, its right on the edge of a lake/bog. A skid steer would probably sink 😬 not to mention there is about a 20-30 degree hill that you have to take to get down there!
It has 32 1/2 HP and handles hills pretty well! It is rated to go up/down 30 degree slopes when you run dual wheels on it which is what I usually have on it when working with any remotely steep hills.
What kind of trailer ramps are you using? They look like aluminum. Most ramps are only rated at about 1500-2500 pounds and Ventrac with attachments on both front and back are pushing that 2500 limit.
I had to look pretty hard to find the ones I'm using, they are 9', 10,000lb rated punched aluminum ramps. So far would highly recommend them, use them pretty much every work day heavily. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6MDU08GNOi0.htmlsi=YlsX44K-FRLRbh4v www.bestaluminumramps.com/
@@sawyerslawncareservice Awesome, thanks for input. Their prices look great too. Do you have a email for them by chance? I tried reaching out to their number. Tried purchasing one of the ramps but Paypal is declining my card for some reason.
@@TheGreatestShowOnTurf I do not have an email for them, no. I believe we mainly communicated via text on the number listed on the website. I think they are local here in Ohio as someone personally delivered it to the house in his truck pretty quickly after I ordered them but I believe they ship nationally.
I never know which weed barrier to buy. Which one is this you are using? I’m sure it’s a commercial grade but maybe recommend something I can get at Lowe’s.
We use a general use spun bound fabric which is very sturdy and easy to work with, along with 6 inch galvanized pins (you can get the pins for a decent price on amazon)
Sweet upgrades! I think you will love the 3 point on the back! I use mine often. Especially when shuffling and loading attachments. Looking forward to future videos!
I have been enjoying it so far! Been using it mainly for ferrying tools to jobs sites and a bit of back dragging with the power bucket (videos to come later), it should come in handy in the fall as well with the leaf plow!
Nice you got the bucket and 3n1 hitch you will love that on the back for the stump grinding and power raking jobs. Love my heated seat too so awesome in the rain and spring and fall clean ups! I left it on the other day and was wondering why I was so damn hot brushhogging I forgot to turn it off😂. Also helps my sore back as a makeshift heating pad while working. Congrats! Do you do plow damage clean ups? That broom is an awesome moneymaker up by us with our big winters
Yeah it's been nice! We are a bit behind of video uploads, it has been really coming in handy recently with some power raking jobs and stump grinding jobs just being able to carry extra equipment on the back! (it will be in some videos coming soon getting used a lot!). The seat has been amazing so far, super comfortable, worth the upgrade. There has hardly been any snow in recent years around here for anyone to request plow damage repair. The broom is on the "eventually" purchase list, but currently not a top priority item. At this current time we are using 2 ECHO pro paddles whenever we need to clean up any debris in a yard which works fairly well for what we have run across so far.
We use a premium spun bound landscape fabric product made by SRW Products (we purchase it at our local landscape supplier). The pins we purchase on amazon in bulk, 6 inch galvanized landscape stables, 11 gauge.
The idea with the power rake to make it effective is set it so the front wheels are on the ground and the teeth dig in good for the first pass and then basically use it like a box blade only pushing into the top inch or two. To get your crown angle the attatchmemt towards the center.
Love the Ventrac, driveway repairs, all the attachments that impact the driveway, spreading of gravel.... All of it, I am a fan! Great job, liked, Viewed, shared, subscribed!
Nice job, what gas edger model do you have? I just had a huge job to bid and it needs all new edges and I’m running solo and it’s going to be 2 days of just edging and and weeding to prep the beds before mulch. Thanks!
Thanks! Is it a "Little Wonder 900 Bed shaper". They are fairly pricey but do a great job! New they are around $5500+tax, but you can get a used one on Facebook marketplace for around 2-3k which is how I picked up this one.
I could only watch about 7 minutes and then the head dude's constant direction of the other workers became unbearable. "Be careful of stuff on the patio." And then he blows off a Frisbee and several kids toys himself.
I good idea would be to buy a big board to place in the trailer with the leaves to push down a large area at once and not have the leaves come through. Covers a greater area than just stamping with your feet!
