yeah i mean after 7 years bro it doesnt ever seem like theyre gonna fix a lot of those bugs, and balance things correctly at the end of the day theres always gonna be complaints, i guess my point is like at the very least adding new things like maps heros and fashion will bring/keep players lol if we not gonna fix the game may as well give us some cool stuff
Bro does not know about the tonk pirate build, to be fair it also uses feats BUT pirate tonk build is litteraly the strongest build for breach. There islretty much no way to lose, you can just walk up to commander and not care about anything
The old system was called "Gear stats" and it was even more broken that Perks (Revenge Gain builds were busted). I agree. Hitokiri is currently the most annoying character to fight against (Orochi too) because of his perks and his hyper armor on everything.
The other day I got hit & killed by a medjay on my team & I said wow, he turned his mic on & told me to shut up I was gonna die anyway, we started going bck n forth & he had the nerve to tell me not to talk to him until I got above him in the stat sheet. I ended up winning the game for my team with my rep 4 Pk, got back to the lobby & his overall rep was 24 lmaoo this doesn’t really relate to your vid but I jus wanted to add on to how bad of an ego sum people in the for honor community have
I'm a very mid player (70 total reps, 500 hours) but the only people I see genuinely rage or alt+f4 are the ones who take the game too seriously instead of just trying to have some fun. Balancing and catering the game around the top 5% of players/pros is what has ruined aspects of the game. If we all stopped focusing on making the game as competitive and viable at 'meta' top tiers of play and instead just focused on fun and interesting balancing around the majority of pretty 'mid' players the game would be in a much better state. Again, the vid doesn't refer to me cos I'm very mid but the whole obsession with high-level play and balancing is what's killing the game.
I feel like it depends on what you consider fun, catering to the Mid/Low me would also bring some stupid changes I feel like cuz those players love to cry about anything and everything. Simply because they lack the capacity to understand how something works I’d rather play a game that actually requires some thought behind it tbh. I get the whole fun thing but many people do have fun even at the highest level, the only ones I see rage quit are the people who aren’t good enough to hang with high level, but don’t wanna ruin their stats lol so the wanna be try hards. The people I’d considering mid anyways. But non the less no matter who the games catered around there will always be complaints no matter what no one is ever happy lol low mmr complains or mid mmr or high at the end of the day the cult followers of this game are the Mid to higher mmr players who never leave the game no matter what we are the ones keeping the game alive
I only like playing the game with people that I have synergy with. Whether that be someone I regularly play with or a random who has a fighting style that I can compliment or vice versa. Solo que is just pain, and playing against comp individuals always made me think outside my tendencies.
Well you know me I play casual I used to be on a comp team and they were absolutely cool no one had an ego well except me back then lol I wanted to beat everyone and thinking I can beat everyone. I lost that moment but when I do play competitive I try to take in as much information as I can for competitive comp play. Shit there points that my team will carry me and I be like damn I shouldn’t have lost to those people. But I lost my ego and just play the game lol. I enjoy just playing with friends in general but hopefully they don’t think they can beat people at least I don’t think.
Depending on how much damage the moves do I believe they feed venge based on damage, bashes and GBs feed 30 Venge, and bleeds will always feed the least’! It would be a short part 2 😂 cuz that’s very little info! The goal was to make people know about how the tag system works tho! That’s the most important part knowing when to stop attacking
I play casually and the people in my circle play casually too. But I'm curious to peek into the comp side of things not to really join the comp style of play but to more so learn and understand the play style.
It definitely opens your eyes a bit in the sense of like how the game works even if you don’t pursue it, you learn a lot. And you get less angry understanding how things work sometimes atleast that’s what happened for me. Things seemed less like bullshit because they started to make sense and I realized that in team based modes shit like this happens
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure nunchucks were a weapon that were used to train shinobis into using the kusarigama (the weapon shinobi current has rn) and they weren’t actually used in combat, so they probably won’t add them to the game. Despite that though I still think it would be a really cool weapon for them to add anyway
I’m not sure on the lore of the weapon but non the less it would be something cool to have agreed! At this point tho idk if they care so much about realism as they do about adding cool weapons so it would be nice to see something different than the norm we used to.
oooh that would be amazing to see a assassin or hybrid with a fan weapon, like kitana from mortal kombat style of martial arts obviously not skimpy(or maybe not judging the players XD)

Bro this game is great even the tutorial it’s great the game shouldn’t give away all secrets. If they did that the game would be like mk1 everyone doing the same combos the game actually rewards players who have been playing for a while
theyre not secrets theyre just key things that people should know lol. this game would be way more fun if everyone was playing at a high level the competitive aspect of this game would be sick, i just finished a tournament and high level is so fun. theres other tricks that are actually broken but i just want everyone to know basic things that are important

it has its ups and downs, thats where the high level play comes in ganks and stuff are sick if u can pull them off i enjoy the optimal game play but i agree the game could deff use some buffs on old heros and a lot of changes but still i very much enjoy the game the way it is

I‘m not really new. Playing since 2018 I guess. Switched from ps to Xbox (after a really long pause) and now I’m rep 4 against rep 200-500 and PC player and I’m getting fucked. It’s really hard alone, but I love the game mechanics and tbh absolver (cool and similar gameplay) is way harder for me. If you’re alone like me and maybe from Germany, you can add me. its not a hard game, its a hard learning curve big difference lol, me personally the only people who genuinely give me a challenge are the highest tier of players, i just entered a tournament filled with a lot of good players including the top team in the world currently and tbh its fun af playing at high level
i feel like dealing with turtles is a part of it i cant be mad simply because another players defense is better than mine that something i need to work on tbh if so
when I was playing (2017-2021) the main issue (or only issue, really) was light spamming. also, people have been quitting for honor every year. the player stats go down every year as well unless there's a new update. the combat style is just outdated. especially the dodge mechanics and having someone follow you (basically teleport) if you dodge to early.
I disagree with the mechanics being outdated I think it’s so unique, but tbh light spam back then and now is a lot different, especially on next gen or pc. THE ONLY time it’s hard is on old gen. If you get 60 frames or more lights should no longer be an issue unless like someone genuinely just can’t react to lights but they are very reactable. Personally I still love the game I think it’s great. But it does need work. For new players or lower skilled players it’s very hard to want to say simply because it’s a hard game to learn.
this game having the guy playing one of id say 8-12 characters who have kits and tools for every situation as well as feats that are extremly jrring and unintuitive to fight against in the capacities its used, then you ask why new players arent here for it 8 years later? They love the art style but hate the peoples playerbase
I think a lot of people simply quit because they fail to understand the game when they’re new and don’t wanna take the time required to learn (not their fault it’s a hard game to learn) but the player base is definitely annoying in some aspects but there’s good sides as well like any community. Realistically you just see more of the bad side because it’s a smaller game. The smaller the community the more toxic people you meet
Yea man the games hard af, I get the whole "You have to play to get better and want to get better and feel so rewarded" yea I don't feel rewarded losing 100 fights in a row only to win one. I don't have the time to dedicate to be good, and the PVE offerings aren't meaningful either.
Its rough tbh finding people to play with helps but it does take some dedication, especially since they don’t teach you much in tutorials. Really fun game and feels super rewarding when you get to the high level but man does it take work, If you don’t have time unfortunately it’s very hard to improve
I don’t know man in my opinion I feel like content creators ruin the game. I only say that because there is a lot of people who do these unbelievable things with characters that shouldn’t be happening at all like triple deflects and getting consistent light parries making newer people to pick up the game. But also drop it because they refuse to actually learn something other than wanna be a content creators that get lucky lol.
I don’t necessarily think Contant creators ruins the game I think the game failed to teach new players how to deal with higher level players because I’m gonna be honest most content, creators are not high-level they’re usually mediocre but they’re just good enough to beat new players. If the new players took some time to learn to play they’d probably be able to match up with the content creators and not get bullied. But it’s not the new players faults the game fails to teach them. I don't get the Hitokiri hate. I wouldn't say I'm amazing at the game or in the top bracket. Yes, I've played since launch, but most of my enemies, as well as myself, tend to struggle at parrying lights. All this in mind, Hito is probably one of, if not the easiest characters to counter. I've never run into someone who can't just parry my attacks, and I've never had trouble parrying Hito. All her attackd are essentially R2/RT and □/×. She has so little going for her that she's easy to counter.
Playing at high level is different lol the players are smarter, verse any hito at a comp level and it’ll be a nightmare ngl. They know how to abuse hitos heavy flicker, and in team fights she basically out trades every hero in the game. She’s basically never bad hero to have in any scenario, she also has unreactable offense, with an unreactable kick that can be held into a sweep that’s feintable ( feintable bashes are also unreactable) basically you have an unreactable offense hero with hyper armor that can beat zerk in trades (zerk being an S tier dominion pick)
Even clutch the #1 player in the world currently is complaining about her so it’s not the fact that I’m just bad it’s the fact that shes actually busted 😂
@chitownboy_ See, now you're describing something that's totally different than just "press one button and let go at different times." Now you're describing a character that needs strategy, a bit of know-how that's only really used by high-level players, and who has a multitude of moves that need to be used.
@@SurrealEuphoria well considering all of that is based off of her heavy you really do only need R2 to win R2 is variable timed, has a flicker timing, out trades every hero in the game, and basically beats anyone in a team fight cuz it’s an infinite r2 chain with instant hyper armor and is a mix up within itself because they have to make the read on wether the next attack will be a kick or if it will keep being heavies. All that pressure is with R2 alone, now just add the square button to the mix and the hero is even more busted so if u wanna win press r2 only if u wanna REALLY win just press r2 and sometimes press square. 1 more button congrats your hero takes 2 buttons to play and be a super strong comp pick

People complaining about "comp players" or people playing the game "properly" need to grow the fuck up and realize this is a competitive game. Go play deathmatch is you just want to have honorable 1v1s. This community is full of egos at every skill level and people refuse to be wrong.
Ubisoft needs to sit down and fix matchmaking if they can balance player skill base on how they play. For example base skill rating on how much they parry or how often they attack a lot or calculate reaction time. I know it’s asking for too much. But still you got some old players make new accounts just to bully new players and makes the game unbalanced than it already is.
I feel like it’s really dependent on how many players actually are in the game because they can do that but realistically it’s just not enough players to make the spectrum wide enough so that you get matched with people in your skill level. So at the end of the day, you’re always gonna be versing people that are not in your skill just because there’s not enough people in the game eventually it’s gonna widen the filter to a broader skill gap simply because you’ve been searching too long
