another cool thing about solo dating. When I go out to eat, I have had many people pay for my meal because i think they feel bad that i'm alone. So its a win-win lol.
This is just another reason why I think you should solo date. Solo dating isn’t dependent on your relationship status. Solo dating is for you to love on yourself, recharge, reflect and rediscover. 🫶🏽
I LOVE solo dating!! 🤎 The care, the love and attention that I give to myself is beautiful. Such a confidence boost and act of love!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!
The last 6 months of last year and the this year so far I've been doing more and more things solo!! And let me tell you....this is the ultimate act of self love and self care for me!! You need time alone, recharge and just focus on you! ☺ What are your thoughts?
I love your hair so much! I want your texture so so so so much!!!!! I have my hair in brotherlocks ™️and it’s worth it, but oh my gosh i want them longer
That depends on a lot of factors. The standard seems to be 1 year before locs mature but some people take longer or less time. I’ve had my Sisterlocks for 15 months and mine aren’t locked yet, ends are still curly.

Congrats guurl!! I've been following you for a while now 👏🏼 I'm actually going to a sisterlock consultation tomorrow, I'm excited,I hope to start my journey soon!!
Thanks for sharing, I’m on day 2 of my install, 17 inches and hair type exactly as yours, a lot of thin strands is how I’ve always described mines. 2 questions, what size locs, and what rotation ?
Congrats! I was really excited about my install even though I looked like I had been electrocuted when it first got done 😂. I’m unsure about the rotation, I’ll ask my loctitian next month but the size throughout my head is mostly between small and medium, a few are small and a few are medium in some places. I’ll update this comment with the rotation next month.
Yeah it has! I still have it and use it. One thing though, if you wear a lot of black (like me 😌) some of the colour will transfer onto the back of the backpack. But it doesn’t show when you’re wearing it and it really didn’t bother me. That price, quality and compact space, definitely worth a try. 🫶🏽
Yeah no worries! When I did my research some loctitians said don’t and some said you can. It was a bit confusing. So I decided to follow the advice of my loctitian. She is a Sisterlocks ambassador and I chose to trust her 20 years of experience establishing and maintaining Sisterlocks. 🫶🏽
I got my install on 12/21/23-11 weeks in. My hair is low/medium density so reties are a bit scalpy. I’ll be glad when the locs start to swell as I’m not a fan of the stringy look. I did extensive research so I knew pretty much what to expect. With that being said I am so glad I decided to go on this journey. There’s nothing like hair freedom! ❤
Thanks for the tips. My locks will be three weeks old tomorrow. I also got a protein treatment and a nice cut before my install day. I’m loving the freedom!
