@@49THPARALLELtreasurehunter it's the Nokta backpack, and it kinda sucked, first one strap broke, I sewed it back on with dental floss, then the other strap broke, so I sewed it back on with dental floss, then a hole started in the bottoms so I sewed some denim over the bottom, and now the zipper comes apart so I have to baby it I'm looking for a new bag that can fit the legend, not sure if I should buy another Nokta camo bag, or maybe buy like a camping backpack I like the looks of the XP bag but it doesn't fit the legend, maybe if I can come up with some extra cash I could get both another Nokta backpack and a XP backpack, but I don't know if the XP back pack can hold my predator phoenix shovel like the nokta bag can
@@mikeycod7377 I dunno, it has no gold colour, I was wondering maybe platinum or something, but it's probably junk, it's stamped China, with no other stamps, but it's just a piece off of something so maybe the good stamp is missing
@@VaAquarist yup Canada, I also don't usually call U.S. dimes foreign when I coin roll hunt, because I find about 1 every roll or two, but I did here because I just found the other foreign coin and I wanted it to be like I found 2 in one tot lot
@@49THPARALLELtreasurehunter thanks, it's the only time I've found three rings in one day, not to mention none of them were junkers, turns out 2 were silver and one is tungsten carbide with what looks like a diamond, I'm pretty fat person and the tungsten carbide ring is huge and fits my ring finger like a glove
@@49THPARALLELtreasurehunter it's also early morning hunting not night, I don't like being out between 9pm and 4am when I'm by myself, although my area is pretty safe, there is a lot of mental health issues in my town we have a hospital for it here, been there myself a couple times
@@digginggopher Yes, I have that same feeling at night, between those hours, but early morning is great, because the mental health issues have been up all night and have probably crashed out by then! !laugh out loud! I`m usually up by 500AM
@@49THPARALLELtreasurehunter I actually found possible gold in this field, June of 2023, it was a really thin chain with an iron pendent on it, the chain came out looking pretty clean, and it kinda held up to an acid test, my friend thinks it's just gold filled and not solid gold, I need to take it to a jeweler and see what they say

@@VaAquarist Im definitely not an expert and I don't really run any programs, I'm not really sure what the difference between park and field is, on the simplex plus it was recovery speed, but on the legend that's adjustable so I'm unsure I usually run my tone break on 11 in 60 tone, I usually not trying to go deep so I'll run audio gain low like 2, especially in pitch tones audio gain will mess with the pitch tone I run recovery speed at 5 in the grass and I leave it there, you don't have to choose 5 specifically, but I recommend choosing a number and sticking with it because it will change the elongation of the beeps In the tot lot though I'll raise my recovery speed up high to get next to the iron play equipment I don't really have experience on DT yet, but sometimes I'll run it if I want to go deeper, I've heard people say it changes the tones I havnt played around with bottlecap reject much, I think it will make the machine clip out on bottle caps, not completely silence them
@@digginggopher I kept the 1.11 software it came with. I have a new model. I'm not worried about the 1.15. They are talking about another update. According to Iffysignals he is showing nokta a couple things to work on.

@@VaAquarist I'm in Canada, but I got the army camouflage Nokta Backpack, here's a Canadain link I couldn't find a states website from a quick search forestcitymetaldetectors.com/products/nokta-makro-multi-purpose-backpack If you get it I HIGHLY recommend reinforcing the straps by sewing in dental floss where the straps attach to the top of the bag, both straps broke on mine and I sewed them back in with dental floss and they are holding after that It's kinda a cheaply made backpack, but it fits Nokta detectors

@@VaAquarist I just keep it in my grey ghost finds pouch with my trash finds, the lanyard is clipped to a ring meant for it, there's actually a pinpointer holster seen into the bag but I don't use it, I used to keep my digger in there too, but bought a grave digger sheath because it was poking a hole in the bottom of my finds bag
Would be cool to see old homesites, churches, under bridges. Here in va i mostly hunt private permission. Its hard to get a yes on schools or parks in my area. Almost impossible actually. Especially on the sports fields. They freak out about that. Even when the kids are out.

@@VaAquarist my parents house used to have a farm on it, I've found an animal tag, old buckle, some sorta horse ring, a 50s cap gun, and two 1940s pennies, but mostly dig up old iron scraps from the house that used to be there, or junk buried in the 80s like pickle jars and coke cans My friends stepmom said I could hunt her property, but my friend has mental health issues and I can't get her to leave her apartment, and I feel weird going alone Other than that I'm too shy to ask for permissions, I've thought about making a post on a local Facebook group asking if anyone would let me search there properties, but I havnt done it yet

@@TPPMetalDetecting yup it was on the floor of my room, if I can get out before the heat tomorrow I'll search the same school I searched with the vanquish, but I'll use my deus The deus lite, w4 master or whatever it's called I really didn't like, I swear all the tones kinda sounded the same to me, I tried both 5 tone and full tones, but it was a savior that the deus is basically 2 machines and I could detect without the remote

Watch paystreaks videos. The newer machines especially the deus 2 like to be swung fast. Also i definitely wouldnt pay attention to vdi numbers. After awhile the tone will tell you whether its a good target.
@@VaAquarist thanks, this is the deus one, I do like to swing slow, perhaps I should lower my recovery speed if I want to swing slow, I do watch paystreak superfreak, I do dig the majority of beeps regardless of vdi, I just read the numbers out for something to say to the camera, although I might skip a target if it's reading below 45 or so as I'll think it's foil, still working on recognizing tones, dosnt help I switch between 5 tone and full tones often, I should stick to one or the other

Thanks, I thought it looked like a predator but wasn’t sure which one. I currently use a shovel that I made myself out of stainless steel sheet metal. It works but I just don’t get as nice of a plug. It’s also kinda heavy. I think I’ve got enough clad this year to pay for a new shovel.
@@jeffmontgomery6891 if you are digging in parks and lawns and such I reccomend it, if you are digging in forests or farm fields and such I would recommend a more heavy duty shovel to get though roots and stuff and grab more dirt per scoop, but I don't know which predator would be good for that
@@mikeycod7377 I found a similar bead last year, I just tested it, I think it's silver plated copper, the scratch looked copper on the stone, and when I dropped 18kt acid it turned blue like silver for a split second, but then disappeared completely like copper does, the Jessica chain I found did the exact same thing
