I'm sorry I do't have a clue about car stuff, so if you exchange the original lights to either halogen or LED, how do you put those in? they don't look like a bulb do they? Sorry this is probably a dumb question haha
@@jeremyfink1494 I just added it because the air box takes up a lot of space and it gives the car a good sound. Cant say I have noticed any difference in performance. Not worse not better. 👌
I have a 2004 and I love these cars, one major reason why I won’t be keeping my first car is that these things rust hard and bad. If it wasn’t for that i really really wish I could keep it and slowly upgrade it, not just cosmetics because these cars seem to have funny problems with the cosmetics but maybe supercharging and DEFINITELY suspension these things rot out. You’re living a dream I wish I could afford keep going these things are the next crown Vic’s and would make awesome sleeper cars ❤
I have an 03 Buick LeSabre Custom. What do you call that light that is between the headlights and the marker light? On my car when I turn the blinkers on that light comes on and stays on until I turn the blinker off. Is it supposed to do that?
@@georgethelesabre7547in this video go to the 2:25 mark. It's the round light that is touching the amber lens. Does yours blink when you turn the blinkers on or is it solid on?
@@georgethelesabre7547just found a video by 1A Auto where they call it a cornering light. Guess it's meant to light up the area you are fixin to turn into when you have your blinker on.
I've had this car for 3 years, and it has 160k miles on it. I haven't done anything major to it besides maintenance. I get 20mpg, but my car is also straight piped, and I'm a teenager, so I'm constantly flooring it. So you could probably expect better mpg out of yours depending how you drive and if you keep the exhaust stock.
Where the actual fuck does one find a replacement backing plate for this car. I think you have the same one jm supposed to have. My cars mirror glass fell off the other day and im trying to permanently fix it.
U don’t want my exhaust setup its loud. Video doesn’t do it justice. Its straightpiped i also don’t recommend a flow master on these cars they sound raspy. I had a flowmaster on it before
Based on my own experience with Buick cars, definitely it's a much better car to purchase compared to Lincoln cars, especially Buick Park Avenue. IMHO: Buick Park Avenue also has spacious interior, smooth ride, luxurious and elegant design. My gallery on RU-vid shows this. Pictures worth a thousand words!
sorry bud but i hate it. buicks are not meant to look sporty by any mean. Spoilers, decals and stripes i mean cmon man, that's a luxury grandpa car. keep it clean and original
Coolant elbows will fail. Replace them with metal ones. Eventually lower intake gasket will fail, replace it with metal one. Drain the terrible red coolant out and replace with universal green. If you dont it will clog up the engine and overheat. The EGR valve could melt some of the upper manifold plastic and leak coolant. Rare but check it occasionally. Thats it, those are the only weaknesses. This engine will last forever if you get those done. Smart choice, just tint the windows and leave the car alone.
These era Lesabre is just simply great rigs...on powertrains and comfortably fine and affordable ammenities....hated to leave My beater '03 Custom there when I chose moving to to Panama instead. Love affair missed
@@georgethelesabre7547 Yup it looks dope I wish it was a way I could show you. It helps you see better at night too its WAY less glare from other peoples headlights.
That's a Beautiful car , Amazing 3.8l v6 and has the comfort of a luxury car , it's not a Muscle car but it'll get up and go when it needs to, gas mileage is amazing for a Big V6. My Grandfather had one and I seriously wanted to buy it from him because it was just an overall great car and never had an issue with it besides the Alternator but that's small stuff. Awesome video, I love seeing these cars get the credit they deserve.
That was a good deal on the headliner I need to get mine done on my 2000 and also need to get the dashboard has come loose at the instrument panel that’s quite common in these Buicks maybe not 2000 files but an older ones like 2000 to 2002 or three want to get that fixed other than that nice car good interior seats in good shape all the other interior is nice for the car’s age
