Great video. Quick question: do the hornos actually release steam directly to the pinas? My understanding is that steam is used to heat the masonry and then the pinas are cooked through that medium...essentially baking/roasting them. Can you explain? Many thanks!
Hello, my girlfriend only makes me buy 100% puro agave . She believes anytime she sees de agave it means it’s not good… ? I personally have no clue what the difference is …
Premium to me means it was made the old way, no autoclaves, no diffusers, copper pot distillation if possible, and NO additives. Price is secondary or even tertiary, but you can get dozens of great tequilas for less than $50, and dozens more for less than $100.
I’ve never tried Cazadores before but I’m glad I didn’t. I was disappointed with Don Julio because it tastes very flat, even with additives. And Herradura just tastes bad, it’s like drinking acetone because of how harsh it is and how artificial it’s flavor is. Another brand I recommend to my friends along with El Tesoro is Tequila Ocho.
