It really isn't, you can order and get them for 500-550k. it's crucial for stopping dismounts as well as damage pressure. 6.3 cowl doesn't cost much but you can go cheaper with guardian helm if you want reliable mounting and cleanse, there are builds that use specter for double chest stealth. It's flexible but for 1vs1 mists overall cowl is going to synergize with badon noticeably more. Plus missing out on kills or dying because you wanted to cheap out and save 200-300k is just a horrible mindset for mists.
There are no more alternative offensive swap but you can use defensive ones for increasing your survival like soldier helmet, hunter hood or guardian helmet
whats the best way to spec up armour? i main badon and have been thinking of swithcing my helm to be more defensive. My current helm is mage cowl which i dont think is that useful
